Witcher/Skyrim is on track to get lower vote totals than BotW/Smash Ultimate despite that BotW match being a clear case of SFF. Generally, SFF matches tend to get lower vote totals compared to non-SFF matches. I guess this is a testament to BotW's strength and thus its ability to be highly effective at drawing in votes.

no. Smash or skyrim dont need to be in any more polls.

Smash VS Skyrim would be excellent as well, but we're getting the match we need most.

I'd like for Ultimate to get a chance to redeem itself after that SFF massacre.

When I voted, it was 8-4 Zelda's favor. Zelda isn't going to give Geralt any hope in this match

8th on the main board heck yeah. Think this is my best finish in one of these (unless Witcher 3 pulls a miracle).

110 votes more in the first five minutes than both semifinal matches

This caps easily my best performance ever with being on the leaderboard for multiple days and up to the top five for awhile before finally finishing in the top fifty. I'm very happy with where I ended up.

As for the match, it's looking like Witcher will be able to finish with at least 40. It's going to go up overnight before probably struggling again towards the end of the match.

I had a perfect second chance yesterday and made it to the leaderboard !

Can't even begin to guess what the board vote favors. Zelda has the brackets, and Nintendo early > WRPG early, but Breath of the Wild is also the guaranteed winner and guaranteed winners get anti-voted.

Awe booted off the leaderboard on the last day, oh well still a fun contest!

Sure, for historical and nostalgic reasons and the graphics hold up pretty well too. I haven’t been impressed by most of the rest of the Master Systen library so far (currently playing through the biggest titles) and can understand why a longer quest like this would be fondly remembered, especially when it looked that good.

but it’s a first-person dungeon crawler with no mapping support and super basic combat with super frequent random encounters but no auto-battle. I replayed it earlier this week. It’s bad.

What a bad final. Props to Zelda though for the most dominant run ever.

It turns out when you finally stop recycling several year old tropes, players love getting something different!

I wonder if BotW would still have been this powerful if Nintendo didn't decide to throw ALttP/OoT design choices in most of the Zelda games for so long and innovated the series much sooner.
