It's series that has built itself itself up bit by bit through sheer perseverance and quality.I think that's right. I'd also argue that there hasn't been one giant, game-changing event that caused Xenoblade to gain popularity, but multiple smaller, but significant ones. Xenoblade 2 was the first Xenoblade game to really take advantage of this (Xenoblade 1 got screwed over by many factors, and Xenoblade X got Wii U'd), selling almost 2 million and probably getting a lot of new people into the series, or at least interested in it, which the Xenoblade 1 remake should benefit greatly from. Yeah... Sorry. |

was meaning that there were two games named Resident Evil 2 and we know
which one is in this contest. No offense taken towards feelings on any
of those games and I get your point overall, but I wouldn't call the
RE2 in this contest and adding Super Mario Kart into this contest as the

Hype
leads to a permanent strength when the hype is delivered upon. It's
mostly when the hype fails to live up to expectations that the strength
boost becomes a temporary, artificial one. Xenoblade HD looks fantastic
so far so I'm confident it brings in at least some new fans. Leon will like the game but I doubt it lives up to the unrealistic expectations Board 8 has built up for him. That's okay though, one more sale for Monolith Soft baybeeee It's Reyn Time. |

definitely put money on Persona to finish #3 in the stats. Zelda will
probably do awful things to Smash; that whole quarter of the bracket

However my biggest surprise is that people might put Dark Souls to win over Skyrim, i know Bethesda is s*** right now but Skyrim was still an amazing game, really surprised really.Innocent games do get penalized for their companies going bad all the time, hell, I suspect that has been the main reason for Final Fantasy 7 getting so much weaker over the years, because the game itself holds up damn well once you get past the graphics. Xenoblade
has the possibility of turning into another Symphonia, a game that I
would think has fallen off by now. that’s what would worry me. the game
itself is great of course. anyway I’ve got some things to do, I can respond more in a bit add the c and back away iphonesience |

Yeah... Sorry. |

Zelda Witcher was always a 60-40 match at best for Witcher. i think Witcher Skyrim (if Skyrim wins..seems like its a coinflip right now) would also be close to 60-40 for Witcher. but that one's because of SFF. (edited 5/9/2020 7:05:14 PM) |

going to need to long to to workout what I think of all these results.
Western SFF sounds absurd when it reaches as far as games like God of
War. But if Witcher 3 looks like a god against every Western game and is

the
new god of war appeals basically to the exact same group of gamers that
loved witcher 3. story driven, semi open world full of sidequests,
getting gear and abilities as you play to upgrade your character, hell,
even down to the main plot hook relying on a bond between the main
character and a protegee of sorts (Ciri / Atreus) i said this before but this result pretty much confirms it. (unless you just think Persona 5 is a monster and would also curbstomp GoW) |

But Skyrim has far more influence on the mainstream AAA space with every game becoming big open world and trying to emulate Skyrim.
