Wasn't there Ike fanart in 2010 and then it got removed again because Allen was told in time? I recall something like that.

I pulled rank so hard for that Souls picture, but it truly is the best possible pic for that game.

My Simon Belmont action figure was panned back in 2013, but I think I got the last laugh on that one because his Smash Ultimate model is the exact same thing.

There was a Samus one too.

Also this reminds me of Allen accidentally putting up a Matthew pic for Isaac, and having a look there was also Ventus instead of Roxas. Both of those got corrected. And before Allen came on there was the infamous “CJ” pic.

I think it was 2005 where CJayC kept using Naked Snake pictures for Solid Snake for reasons I cannot explain.

I must have gotten fan art by Allen at least 5+ times by now, I don't think he has the time to reverse-google every single image we submit

Are we talking bonus matches? If last time is any indication and we get a full slate of 4, we'll get the semifinal losers paired up. Ultimate vs. Skyrim/Dark Souls would be worth seeing and could at least give us a point of reference for X-Stats adjustments, even if they wouldn't be totally accurate.

The third place match between the 2 games that lose in the semifinals seems like the most obvious candidate for a bonus match. The contest winner vs. Majora's Mask seems like the second most likely bonus match to happen.

After that, it's a wide open discussion for the other 2 bonus matches if we're going to get a full set of 4 matches after the final.

People should post CDI Zelda pics for the final match for BOTW. Hey they are legit, since CDI games are technically Zelda games right??

It was 2004 leading up to the release of MGS3. It wasn't officially "confirmed" that Naked Snake wasn't Solid Snake, but every MGS fan knew it wasn't.

I still think it hurt Snake in the matches where it was used because fans knew that wasn't Solid Snake.

Skyrim > Dark Souls with 51%

I'd like to see Witcher a few points higher than that. I have Skyrim around there.

I currently expect Witcher 3 to clear 56% unless it really does turn out that Japanese games are like Kryptonite to Witcher 3.

If Persona 5 doesn't have like 60% in the opening minutes, it's probably only getting like 45%.

Yeah, the only good board vote between all three of these games is Persona 5. It might just score all of the votes for the first minute.

I'm skeptical of Persona's whole division but it might well bring its A-game here.

This probably bodes well for Skyrim given its board vote.

And Dark Souls is already looking like its cooked.

Dark Souls tends to spike on the first few updates after the freeze and then taper off

if it can't hold the lead beyond the first 30 minutes it's boned

P5's board vote is almost certainly undercut by bracket voting - curious how this looks in a few updates.

Dark Souls has had dreadful board votes and is the bracket un-favorite here.

I think Second Chances are pretty valid reasons to bracket vote. Might be a bite niche, but who knows?

if you've already missed a match on Second Chance (for instance if you had Odyssey > Ultimate) you're already out on that one too

Awww P5 didn't make it to the freeze.

Solid finish for Witcher there. Hoping to see a massive jump coming up.

Looking good for both Western games, though as others have pointed out, Dark Souls has had some wonky trends. Certainly not writing it off.
