Would anyone besides Link even remotely approach that percentage on Alucard these days? I can't imagine it.

1 user fell off the Top 50. TheMightyPeanut did not have both Witcher 3 and Persona 5 winning.

This assumes The Last of Us hasn't been significantly weakened by the leaks and Neutered Dog's recent censorship meltdown, and that the game was always really strong on the site.

I thought this whole mess with TLoU happened like 2 years ago after the E3 trailer. I never liked Naughty Dog games to begin with, but my understanding was that people were sick of it at that point. It even sure why the spoilers are news.

i think it matters a lot. Dark souls / skyrim is going to be a wire to wire close match. If persona rallies one game over the other that game will win.

lol. Dude. The spoilers are massive news. Also people weren't sick of it. Theres only been 1 game in the series and it was incredibly well recieved. And people want to play another game with the same characters....

i do think ND games overall started to lose a bit of their luster as time passed. people kinda realised gameplay wise they were very lacking. TLoU1 stood stronger than the rest due to its story. now its starting to fall apart.

My second chance bracket so far is near perfect down to the percentages. Unfortunately, I unknowingly fudged up one of the last battle's percentages. I'm pretty sure it was with the mouse scrolling wheel. I had the bar active and moved it as I tried to scroll the page. Ah well, at least the winner is the right one.

Considering Cloud barely broke 60% on him last time, probably not!

also checking the X-stats Sephiroth would be projected to beat Alucard in a rematch with 51.17% lawl

I picked 62 for DS and 55 for Skyrim today so I really would appreciate it if we could just end the polls right now.

I don't think the game aged that well, though. It's often cited on forums as one of the most overrated games of this console generation. And the characters, while well crafted and multi-layered, aren't exactly awesome from a "game character" perspective.

Also, this hasn't been brought up in Board 8's discussions about the franchise, but I think the sequel is also hurt because it's releasing about five years after the zombie craze started becoming stale. If you're not Resident Evil, people don't care about your zombie apocalypse world. Look at how Days Gone flopped.

When the first game came out the zombie crazy was already stale. I feel like everything that came out after L4D2 was the dumbest rehashy garbage ever

i dont care how much it sells. Uncharted gameplay is stale as hell now. They just kept doing the same blockbuster s***. Uncharted 2 was one of my fav games last gen but naughty dog just copy pasted it onto a new bland story with some cool set pieces that was more fun to watch than play

i mean more in terms of renown. back then, uncharted 2 was reallistically considered to be among the best games ever by many. now pretty much no one would even entertain that as a remote possibility. UC4 ended up losing GoTY to a multiplayer shooter (Overwatch), and those games are rarely even considered for GoTY by mainstream critics.

days gone was average and mediocre in every sense

i agree TLOU hype and buzz fell off. But even still... the leaks have made it 10x worse

to be fair, Days Gone just wasn’t very good and it still managed to be a top 20 selling game last year. I don’t think that game indicates anything about people’s feelings about zombies.

You're still vastly undervaluing UC4, it's the best selling PS4 of all which is significantly more than UC2 even counting the Nathan Drake Collection. It was huge when it came out.
