I'm not seeing much vulnerability in P5, tbh!

MGSV has honestly done better than I was expecting. I'm thinking Dark Souls 60/40s it.

MGSV wasn't well liked from the start. Perhaps that weakness was already baked into its 2015 result and it isn't that much weaker now.

Sadly I think this Red Dead performance shuts the book on Batman > Last of Us. Stupid smart voters.

Eh, I think people are overrating Dark Souls a bit here.

Portal 2 is struggling way more than Persona 4 did in either Rockstar matchup.

I mean maybe. But even an overrated Dark Souls is worth a lot more than 60% on MGSV.

Listen i like MGSV its the best "playing" MGS game ever. But theres too much BS around that game that make it very very weak for a mainline MGS game.

Dark Souls is part of a franchise now that is just a beast.

72.5% is well above "barely doubled." You're confusing it with KH3, which I expected MGSV to look like.

And Yakuza 0 seems legit.

I'd be absolutely stunned if DS doesn't get at least 65% on MGSV.

WE're gonna have a FFXV situation here. DArk souls would probably get 65%+ on FFXV too. Theyre probably at the same level.

But having said that...maybe peopel have forgotten about MGSV's awful story and remember it being one of the best playing MGS games.

Unlike FFXV...MGSV is actually a good game. So who knows

Nah Top end is what i think Witcher 3 does on MGSV at its worst.

I mean i'm not saying it definitely will. I'd be shocked. This isn't when that guy said Xeno would struggle to hit 65% on Ovewatch and i'd leave if that happened.

I'm just saying I think 60% on MGSV is disappointing and i think thats extreme low end. A weaker DS game got 57% on MGSV in its launch year.

Portal 2 is likely favored among the top echelon, with RDR2 being the general favorite.

MGSV is actually pretty dope though and at least offers a unique experience from other MGS games that make comparisons less important than something like KH3.

Like I said....Unlike FFXV and KH3...MGSV is a good and at times great Video game. I've never played a more polished open world game than MGSV. From the brilliant combat mechanics to smooth gameplay its unrivaled especially on consoles. It didn't get the reviews and acclaim for nothing. But there are significant parts of that game that sort of dropped the ball to a degree that really left people with a sour taste.

Yeah, I think Portal 2 is good. It's been averaging 55-60% updates for the last 20 minutes.

The Rockstar Power Hour is over.

And a 59% update.

This is feeling oddly reminiscent of Portal 2/KH3 all of a sudden where KH3 kept it close early on and then Portal 2 just started cranking out 60%+ updates.

Wow, this is pretty impressive from persona 5. When the contest started I was worried about whether it would even win its own division so this is pretty unexpected for me.

Hurts to see any of these games lose tbh

For me this is the highest quality day of Round 3. On that tier list maker that was making the rounds a while back I'm pretty sure I didn't have any of these games less than classic. All amazing in different ways

So at what percentage would you start to entertain Portal 2 > P5? I'm thinking it can get mid-to-high-50s if it maintains this pace, but 60% is likely out of reach.

I wouldn't take Portal over Persona even if it does get 60%. Red Dead 2 would not look good against Sonic Mania.

Sonic Mania vs. KH3: Who ya got?

I guess the question comes down to how you feel about KH3/Sonic Mania. I think they're about equal, maybe a slight edge to KH3?

Or maybe Tomb Raider vs. Sonic Mania might be a bit more thought provoking.

If Sonic Mania = KH3, P5 wins with 57.85%

If Sonic Mania = Tomb Raider, P5 wins with 54.29%

I think mid-50s is probably a reasonable guess. Sonic Mania is such an unknown though, even more than KH3.

Sigh. I am above 93%+ now, but I figured RDR2 would win this. I only have 1 more match I am guaranteed to lose, so really needed this one to go my way.

I would easily take Sonic over KH. Tomb Raider is a tossup but Sonic winning isn't unthinkable.

And remember, the game that made Sonic look bad was a JRPG. Considering Persona 5 is at or near the top of the JRPG heap right now it would take a lot for me to pick against it in a debated match.
