Hey now Mystic Heroes was awesome. And by that I mean I only had Nintendo systems for a bit and was desperate for games with damage numbers in them.

It has the best gameplay of the series by a country mile, but the story is meh (not an issue for me because I value gameplay over everything else, but lots of fans were disappointed with this after XB1). Definitely worth a play if you have the available means to do so.

Even with games as disparate as Persona 4 and Red Dead Redemption. This is why I say you need a really ravenous fanbase to get a BIG rally going.

This was the case even with Draven. It's probably just a vocal minority. People are probably more likely to comment if they disagree than if they agree since such a comment would likely boil down to "Go *game that is being rallied*!"

That's always one of the challenges for rallying. For Bloodborne I estimated about 30% of the rally in round 2 voted for Fire Emblem: Awakening. The best I can recall was round 2 Draven whom had around 90% compliance.

The only Tales of game I've seen a bunch of advertisement for (and a pretty cool one, since it makes a nod to many past characters) is Tales of the Rays.

It looked pretty great and made me want to play it, but I haven't seen anyone talk about it.

That was different. The rally back then was made from the LOL people just to spite us.

Tales of the Rays is a gacha, not a real game.

I believe there was an actual Tales game coming to mobile sometime soon, but I think they may have revealed that was a gacha as well.

America flipped to GTA.

Imagine if P4 was Vita only. RDR would've eaten it alive.

There is nothing inherently wrong with a boob slider given people in real life are 100% doing the same thing. You choose who and what you’re attracted to. Girl would be cute but her ass is too flat? Talk to a different girl.

The issue here is didn’t that game have girls under 18 or something? I’m as anti-censorship as anyone, but that’s just dumb.

How the hell did it get a 1 seed over games like Nier, God of War and Mario Odyssey? lol

GTAV has a 97 Metacritic score, sold over 100 million copies and is the most profitable game of all time. The game continues to sell and has a very active online community. The game is an anomaly in terms of its commercial success. Hence the 1-seed.

You might not like the game at all, but it takes a lot to make such an accomplishment. That said, GTAV has been the game equivalent of Lara Croft or Pac-Man when it comes to 1-seeds, which is what they had back in 2002.

Come on, GTA. You have 6 hours to do this.

You know like nearly 50% of gamefaqs is actually voting for GTA! Maybe hate is a bit strong

Also GTA never actually looks weak when it chokes which is impressive.

@Nintendogs You are correct. I see GTA 5 in Top 10 sales almost like EVERY week. No other game in History has done that, and no game will ever do that. People don't seem to understand that sure Zelda, Smash, Call Of Duty are popular but GTA reigns supreme over anything. For most people when they think of videogames they think something like GTA.

Unlike Lara Croft or Pac-Man in 2002, GTAV will end up being around 3 seed based on the x-stats so it's not like it was that overseeded.

It's a disconnect in target audience. Sure, GTA is strong, but not in a JRPG site.

I can't believe Uncharted 4 (a AAA PS4 game) is significantly weaker than a Vita exclusive.

Like, I can't even imagine how weak Uncharted: Golden Abyss would be considering it's probably the second-most-popular game on that system.

P4 Golden is defo getting votes off the original P4 on PS2. I know i voted for it this contest exclusively because i only played it on PS2.

I wonder how much P5R's recency is helping Golden here - both in terms on bringing Persona fans to the site and making people less averse to voting for an enhanced port (assuming they cared to start with).

I haven't played a GTA game since 3. Watched my roomate play this and it all seems to be the same as always.

I don't think I've played a second of any Rockstar game, GTA included.

Never played GTA or RDR.

I keep hearing RDR has a great story so I could see myself playing it.

But GTA? Don't get the appeal.

GTAV has Trevor. That’s the best reason to give the game a try.

I want to get it eventually. There are just a lot of other games I'm more interested in

People who've never played a single R* game are probably the same people who only ever owned a Nintendo console.

I haven't played GTA past 3, but I've tried both Red Deads and Bully.

@shane15 I agree. If you have ever owned a Playstation or an Xbox you have played at least a Rockstar game. No way around it.

I've just never been all that interested in them. I've had every PS console and a 360. A lot of Nintendo ones too.

RDR has interested me a bit though

You were seeing advertisement for it? Pretty sure the reason why it died prematurely after like 8 months was because people weren't aware it existed.

Tales of Link, now that had some marketing, but it ended up getting shut down because the Japan server closed at the same time.

Hoping Tales of Crestoria does pretty well whenever it eventually comes out.
