as it stands RE will just win easily..these games are all just fighting to decide who gets stomped by BoTW anyways...in my mind, might as well get as many good matches as possible before then

RE2 will probably just cruise by ME2 too. ME has kept bleeding even after the rally stopped,so 55% on Horizon could very well just be its real strength

Who f***ing cares about watching 2 games trade updates for the upteenth time? I'd much rather an entire contest of 55-45 blowouts with zero rallies than the bulls*** we're currently dealing with

The mods getting sick of rally threads is the best case scenario. Limits the potential of future rallies while also being a sort of organic way to end the rally because we weren't the cause of it ending.

Next time I see a bulls*** rally I'm going to start spamming whatever s***hole it started in with rally threads and reports

yeah how much activity is the blood borne subreddit getting that they even felt the need to act on this

One mod decided he didn't want rallies.

i think we can stop for a while and look at how big of an egg ME2 is laying

it wasn't the rally at all..in fact it started doing WORSE once the rally ceased.

this is its real strength.

RE2 > ME2 picks suddenly starting to look great after there was no hope just a few hours ago.

Like I said, this is about what ME2 is expected to get based on direct extrapolation from 2015. So either ME2 has stayed stable since 2015, or both it and Borderlands 2 have somehow gone down equally. Given Gearbox has become about as big a laughingstock as BioWare, I wouldn't be surprised.

is safely beating Horizon, a very good and popular game, really laying an egg? Seems fine.

It could also be that Horizon is just better than we gave it credit for.

Honestly ME2 is looking pretty safe to take the division, but the quarterfinals will be ugly for it.

I'm that kind of guy. I will literally never vote for or play anything Gearbox does. A lot of people vote with their dollars.

Rally went up. Bloodborne took the lead. Rally was taken down. RE2 is about to take the lead back.

BB holding RE2 off when RE2 has a rally up and BB doesn't is kind of impressive. This is going to end up a really good effort in a loss.

And ME2 is not laying an egg. Horizon is legit.

BT is going to end up being the hero we deserve when he singlehandedly ruins every rally attempt through spamming.

Horizon was the second strongest non-Nintendo game of 2017, and 2017 games have already proven legit strength across all the bracket.

It's not so much people who were fans of the company turning against it, so much as it is the general tide of approval sweeping against them. Admittedly the 2015 games contest took place after Aliens: Colonial Marines came out, but since then Gearbox added Battleborn to their list of high-profile flops. Also failures of later games can make the flaws in older "classics" stand out, which has especially struck Bethesda as of late.

It's basically like the case with Star Wars, how people who liked the prequels or at least didn't disown them so vehemently got particularly enraged by the new films, so they got more vocal about their views, but people who viewed the prequels as a black mark on the franchise didn't really change their minds and at least see the new films as an improvement but don't really care otherwise.

Maybe GameFAQs should have made better efforts to modernize throughout the 2000s (Youtube, Wikias, streaming, and image guides lapped this place a long time ago), not to mention the laughably bad moderation system being such a joke for so long that it drove everyone off the message boards never to return. When your mod system is a famous meme and you don't correct it for over a decade, it's your own fault that people stop visiting. The only companies who complain about a better service elsewhere are bad companies -- good companies strive to do better.

The main thing that brought people here was every game having a message board. That was not properly cultivated when better services popped up.

Man the rally was deleted 3 hours ago and Bloodborne just refuses to die.

I imagine there are other rallies going on. More word of mouth rallies than just posting on reddit.

Wake up, look at matches, I didn't have to look Bloodborne's match to know there was a rally because Horizon is doing much better and the spillover favored it last time

Honestly Bloodborne > RE2 kills my bracket but Bloodborne is the better game and RE2 is a flipping remake so whatevs. Also Horizon is an amazing game so whatever it bleeds off ME2 is fine by me

I don't know about Reddits but aren't anything allowed if it has something to do with the game?
