don't know what to make of Diablo. Diablo fans hated it at first, me
included, don't know if I still do, and not just cause of gameplay. But
then it apparently got better. Last finished: Big Adventure of Owata's Life (PC), Blasteroids (ARC), Asteroids (Atari 8 Bit), Space Invaders (NEC PC-98). |
That was a straight kill shot to TLoU's hopes |
Meh, I'd take Rocket League over D3. I think this is a very strong showing for Dark Souls. |

Of course it got better. There was a million rereleases on every paltform If were talking about Vanilla Diablo 3 PC version 2012....that is a garbage ass game. But I played vanilla and i played ultimate edition on Xbox one and the game was significantly improved Is it a game people are going to flock to to support? no but its a game thats going to get support based on player base.So are games like Rocket League. |
Honestly I don't think Dark Souls vs Last of Us is even the interesting discussion anymore Unless Batman bleeds a lot throughout the day and Diablo falls, Arkham vs Last of Us is gonna be the closer match If

problem with Diablo 3 is that it faced Virtue's Last Reward, and we
know VLR is garbage. Last of Us needed about 67% on Diablo 3 to match
what it's projected to get against VLR in 2015. You have to bank on VLR
being stronger nowadays, and while that's possible, it's still an iffy
look. It's Reyn Time. |

Oh right, I forgot VLR was behind Mass Effect 2's weirdness. Next round will make things very clear. Dark Souls/MGS5 is a rematch and we have good data on both Arkham City and Last of Us. It's Reyn Time. |

3 would crush Rocket League. Let's not give Rocket League too much
credit for getting to Round 2 when it would lose to literally every
other Round 2 game. Still a great result from Dark Souls though. It's Reyn Time. |
Nah,
Batman isn't going to beat TLOU. Even if BioShock beats Diablo III (and
it probably does), I think the gap will be too wide for TLOU to blow
that. |

I wonder if journey will overperform on Skyrim due to people playing it for free on their PS4 this week. Advokaiser picked Cloud in Guru and rained on my bracket. At least I finished 20th overall! |

Journey isn't a game that has ripened with age It was considered pretty unique when it came out and got respect for it but is now considered one of the progenitors of the walking sim genre that has blown up since 2015. That ain't good for it on this site If
