Mario Odyssey is easily the most snubbed 2 seed in bracket, much more so than God of War. Intentionally, of course, so that the quarter and/or semifinals weren't a Nintendo-fest, but still If

Perhaps
Skyrim has had some Bethesda backlash or whatever, we'll see, but it's

Sonic
Mania VS Super Meat Boy is next. I suspect we've been sleeping on Ys
being a stronger game than expected, but I'm sticking with the
tooth-missing cube of meat for the upset. SM looks super-fun and I just
bought it to play soon, but I don't expect nearly enough people to play
it for a game from such a classic franchise. Dark Souls gets a lot of
credit for inspiring difficult games, but Super Meat Boy deserves some

i wouldn't say Dark Souls gets credit for inspiring "difficult" games it gets credit for creating a ton of mechanics and gameplay structure that is followed by developers all the time. the recent star wars game for example is basically a reskinned souls game |
