Even though Black Flag is a lot stronger and probably the most popular AC game or at least slightly behind AC2.

Persona/Witcher is probably a 55-45 but you can bet your f***ing ass that Match is gonna have rallies. From Both sides but definitely PErsona 5 sides.

Seriously, AC is worth nothing no more on a site like this. Doesn't matter if it was once big, beating them is not very impressive.

@UltimaterializerX Ys VIII is basically Kingdom Hearts on coke, with a 3D Metroidvania-style map, and S-tier music. One of the most pleasant surprises I've come across in ages.

Theyre still big name games and Black Flag is one of the most respected.

ITs also not a game thats going to garner antivotes. AC isn't your multiplayer Shooter...its an action adventure that still appeals to hardcore gamers.

Yeah, I nom'd Ys VIII, so I'm thrilled what Sonic is doing for it right now. More people need to play that series. It's a crime that Ys has been around so long, yet nobody's heard of it.

Why is Mario Maker not on this? It would have been an actual match if it had been against sonic mania

Well you aren't going to be noticed when you're notable games are delegated to PSP and Vita.

ys 8 at the end of the day...is a Vita game that got a bunch of ports.

We need a Ys game with bigger budget to be released on PS4/ and or switch with some good marketing.

AC surely gets antivoted for their games preferring quantity over quality for a while. AC2 didn't fall off a major cliff between 2010 and 2015 for no reason.

either way Persona is overperforming here..i think most people were predicting around 70%

My point is AC is still a game/series that was once very popular on Gfaqs. Altair and Ezio also don't do too badly in contests. Although that might be more to their design than their games but still.

I'm just saying AC aren't what they use to be....but when you compare them to games like Stanley Parable or Subnautica or low fodder indies like Obra Dinn its clearly a step above all of those games.

Persona 5 will probably drop some percentage over the course of the day.

Oh I agree with this, though Call of Duty also used to be worth something here and Altair and Ezio sure isn't what they used to be. Ezio being the AC representative last contest probably speaks about what we think of the newer games though.

So the point is just that I don't think there's enough of a difference between Odyssey and Black Flag for Persona 5 vs. Witcher to be close. Persona 5 will likely have no trouble getting there and will lose no trouble too.

AC is more well known than HR

Then again Royal is out and has active users. P5 is going to draw more votes compared to if Royal didn't exist.

Yeah, this is a fantastic performance by Persona 5. Even if we think Black Flag is trash, this is still worth 77% on Civ 5 and Civ 5 managed to break 33% on 2015 Dark Souls (which should be stronger now).

The only thing is that I don't think it matters. It'll win its division and then lose to Witcher 3, so it's trajectory is set.

Nah, I'm sure KH1 and KH2 would still be really strong. KH3 is just very divisive.

Well, I don't know about Heavy Rain I suppose, but I just expected AC to be worst early.

I don't about really strong when you lose to FFIX but I guess

FF9 is strong as well.

FF9 is a reeeeeeally strong game. As well it deserves to be!

Well, I'm just saying that just because Persona 5 is frontloaded doesn't mean it'll necessarily tank percentage beyond the first hour. It lost 5% from the freeze to the end of the first hour and then mostly held steady.

It hasn't lost much percentage from the freeze this round though.
