If TLOU doesn't win its division, I really need RE2 and Three Houses to win theirs.

The former is looking great, the later not so much. Though GTA winning might suffice since none of the Odyssey brackets have GTA.

Well, it could be little or it could be a lot based on how the rest of the bracket turns out for each individual user.

Dark Souls has quite a bit that can be unnerving. Blighttown, Catacombs, Tomb of the Giants. It'll test someone who prefers colorful, relaxed games.

EDIT: And New Londo Ruins. Surprised I forgot that one (well, not really, because a ton of the areas in Dark Souls are overrated and Bloodborne takes its lunch money don't @ me).

As long as whatever gets out of that side of the division folds to Xenoblade, it's OK for me.

Nothing in Dark Souls unnerved me, but I also play horror games and watch horror movies for fun so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I was a kid I would easily give up on games because of scary sections. Didn't even need to be a horror thing, just sections that had a character chasing me or some deadly time limit would scary me. I remember putting away Banjo Kazooie because of that pyramid that had the ceiling fall on you.

Now they still unnerve me, but I'm experienced enough to notice a section is winnable even if it has a scary mechanic.

Dark Souls has quite a bit that can be unnerving. Blighttown, Catacombs, Tomb of the Giants. It'll test someone who prefers colorful, relaxed games.

This plus the games systems/mechanics make it a scarier experience than most horror games.

As someone who is incredibly sensitive to horror movies and such, nothing in the entire Souls series is scary. Not even world 3 of Demon’s Souls.

For example, there are games that I consider must-play based on overall popularity, reception and legacy, so it's quite a shame for me that The Last of Us is one of those games that go well beyond the things I dislike in games.

Amnesia should have made the bracket. It actually has a pretty decent claim to the Game of the Decade title considering it pretty much revolutionized horror AND the Youtube let's play community (for the worse but still)

The Fate Gacha wasn't beaten that bad in R1 but R2 is gonna fodderize it into single digits by proxy.

Overall, the games I don't know that I'd ever pick to beat anything are Destiny, Fortnite, Hearthstone, and Dota 2.

I have a take.

I don't know if it's the weakest game in terms of like "lowest percentage a game would put up on BOTW", but I think in a direct matchup, every single game in this bracket would beat Fortnite. Except maybe Hearthstone I wouldn't be too surprised if that one is so pathetic it still lost to Fortnite.

Admittedly it would be the game I would feel second most uneasy about beating it after Hearthstone, but, probably

[actually, thinking about it, if Horizon - which as seen today, might have some real strength - got like 80% on Fortnite and freaking Minecraft almost put up that number on Dota 2, Fortnite might be the smart pick.]

Unlike in round 1, Breath of the Wild actually does worse among registered users in this match.

FFXV only does about 1.4% better with registered users, and this is even after considering the possibility of small scale rallies for Hollow Knight.

Monster Hunter: World does about 4% better with registered users, one round after it did over 7% better with registered users. Sekiro in round 1 also did about 7% better with registered users as well, so one of these games had to do better with the registered users.

Dragon Quest also did well among registered users, but only by around 2.5% this time around.

True, it's a shame Warcraft went from a game as amazing as Warcraft III to a game as terrible as Heartstone.

Dragon Quest has a good Europe vote and a bad day vote, as you'd expect from a JRPG.

REmake 2/Bloodborne is gonna be a good match next round. I can see FE:A getting 55% or so on DOOM, but I also can't see Resident Evil fans letting this one drop in a wave of REmake 3 fans coming to the site. I expect that one to be competitive.

Hell of a show by ME2, too (especially if FO 4 was constant which lol it's not, but just imagine the reactions if it beat The Witcher 3 by just a little less than this). I've got REmake 2 > ME2 in my bracket but I'm inclined to think this puts ME2 into favorite-status.

I'm a few pages past it coming up, but lol BT thinking RE2 was a VR game.

No idea what anything thats come out after 2016 is, huh.

How many indie games could pull off the upset Hollow Knight failed to complete against FFXV? I'd feel alright with Cuphead and Shovel Knight, and I'd feel riiiiiiiisky with Ori and Undertale.

Isn't ME2 vs FO4 the same situation as W3 vs ACO? The only times I've ever seen FO4 being brought was people s***ting on it for being a disgrace.

RE2 was a typo, but still, I don't know anybody who played RE7 in VR. Sure, journalists did, but a vast, vast, VAST majority of people who played that game have never done so in VR.

The idea of it being VR exclusive is hilarious and is just another match on the pole of how out of touch you have been, lol.

Not that we didn't know from that hilarious Nintendo franchise power ranking.
