Yeah, I'm feeling confident enough that NA will help Celeste to victory in any case, but it would have been fun to see a lead change first.

lol Rayman got a whole 2 update lead. Even i expected it to last longer than that.

France just flipped to Rayman. Celeste is winning comfortably in North America so Rayman will have to continue cutting, take the lead, and probably build up a lead of several hundred votes if it wants to stand a chance here.

Pretty Sure Team Fortress 2 won a really close match the one year with America going against it. I think that was against Rock Band.

Woke up and got scared before realizing the lead had already flipped and was now flipping back and rising.

Phew.

Madeline fell to the ground but was only there for 10 minutes before she started climbing again.

Now she's unlocked the double dash and is going straight up to the summit.

Just checked and Alucard won in South Africa which totally counts! Though that’s much more of a mix than the other anglosphere countries.

@LeonhartFour You are correct but with such low vote totals if something wins in USA it will win in the end.

I may be wrong here but the only time a game would ever lose in the US and win overall is if the US percentage is like 51-49 or 52-48.

Nah America’s not that much of the site. Even using the last stats we have, if a match is 60-40 in NA the loser needs about 73% elsewhere. And those stats are from 2013 - things are probably more evenly distributed now based on the way things were trending.

Allen please do another continent poll we would all really appreciate it.

Rayman pulls to within 1. About an hour ago I thought Celeste was pulling away.

Nice. Round 1 goes out with a legitimately close match.

Both Celeste and Rayman Legends are great games. Rayman is the slightly better game but both are tremendous platformers.

I had made a reddit rally for Celeste yesterday. Probably got a few dozen votes, judging from the activity.

Now I just went and made one on Discord.

Nice to see Rayman putting up a fight, though the trends aren't looking good for it.

Never did I think this match out of all matches in R1 was going to be the closest we would've had.
