Pokémon
in this contest is just weird. We've had four generations released in
the last decade (Gens 5-8) but none of them got in this contest.
Instead, we have a remake that's one of the 90's game, and one not truly
released last decade (it was released in 2009 in Japan). I thought that with its 90's graphical look it could do very well in this contest, but with Sonic Mania stinking up the joint maybe that's not really a factor. We'll see how it does. (edited 4/10/2020 5:02:52 PM) |

how much stronger is Bayo 1 than 2 |
Rayman impressing so far. I thought it was toast. NieR getting 70% on Bayo 2 should be comparable to HGSS getting 85% on fodder. Advokaiser picked Cloud in Guru and rained on my bracket. At least I finished 20th overall! |
For
the record, if this holds and assuming a static Bayonetta 2, this is an
extremely impressive result from Nier. Puts it about equal to Shadow of
the Colossus in the 2015 stats. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Pokemon
probably does good early, but then again, when is Night in the Woods
anything. I want to say Bayonetta 2 kills Night and the Woods and that
means Pokemon is in trouble against NieR. But I don't we can make much
of any +80% matches. At that point, too many small things can influence

for concern but anything above that is another blowout you can't glean

I figured Celeste was one of the few strong indie games pre-contest.
Now it looks like it might be weak in a bunch with multiple decent

instinct. Oh well, it helped me with Mario Kart 8 and tons more stuff. |
