r/PS4 subreddit recently concluded its "March Madness of Iconic
Playstation Characters" tournament, so I thought I'd post the results
here. There's a lot of questionable, low-tier characters included, but
it's fun to see how the results differ what you'd see on Gamefaqs.
Participation was quite low, likely because you had to click on a new
post for each vote. There was an average of 558 votes per match, which
is not a lot considering that there are over 3 million people on that
subreddit. Of course it's fallen off harder from its peak to now, but I don't think it's a real competitor for the steepest plunge from peak to current strength. I still haven't really heard a better one! I guess you could argue something like Vice City based on how well it did against Melee in 2004, but it still did fine in GOTD1 and 2015. |
How
about Call of Duty 4? Peak CoD4 would come close to tripling current
