Man, GTA5 looking weaker than the other 3 winners Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
performances are all somewhat similar whats the pecking order among the losing games? |

We see games like DQXI, RE2, Doom, BLoodborne, New horizon Score Enourmous BEATDOWNS on higher seeds and here you have GTAV and it can barely triple a random indie game that only came out last year. Also My RDR pick is looking safe here Ghost Trick is easily the strongest out fo all 4 losers here. That game had an actual fanbase back on DS. |
Does first round percentage of votes really matter going into the second? maybe the other game had a tougher opposition? |

understand XCOM 2 is probably the fan-favorite of the XCOM series now,
but I think XCOM 1 made a bigger impact and would have been stronger.

You had GTAV to win the entire Division? lol Either way looking at it now. CUphead upset is a real possibility. I still think Red Dead has the toughest opponent. PErsona 4 is probably the slight favourite to win this fourpack. RDR 2 and GTAV 3rd. Cuphead is a dark horse. But i doubt it gets past a JRPG favourite like PErsona if it beats up casual theft Auto. |

So Octopath got 57% with anon voters but only 52% with registered voters. Another case of anon voters being the ones to destroy tyhe rally champion. |

That's a bit unusual because the Character Battle X stats only counted users who registered before the start of that contest towards the reported User Vote totals. It's rather impressive that Undertale managed to still lose to Octopath even among registered users with the massive bracket support for Undertale. 6849 brackets picked Undertale to win, but only got 4422 votes from registered users. This means that 35.44% of registered users with a bracket entry would have to vote against Undertale to end up with just 4422 votes from registered users. It's not a perfect assumption to make because not all registered users with a bracket would have voted on that specific day of matches, and there are dozens of other registered users who are free to vote for either game without having to worry about their bracket as they didn't fill out a bracket.
