Its a better fighter for me but on this site? hell no. MK is way more popular than Tekken.

I took DK but I'll be happy with this loss. Love playing as Nero so much.

DMC5 isn't that great. I really don't get the hype around it. Only one of the characters is fun to play as, it's repetitive, and the gold gems make the game really unbalanced.

I mean, when it's good, it's REAL good, but those moments are few and far between.

Not that it changes the result but Shovel Knight is dropping like a rock.

Odyssey > Ultimate would be so shocking to me. I've internalized the rule that non-64 3D Mario games are always way weaker than you'd expect.

also I could see modern MK being about as useless as Tekken

the last few entries have been well received but they won't be as popular as the first three games

it’s too bad Tekken 7 didn’t get into any of the GOTY polls the year it came out so we have no real idea of anything about it strengthwise

eh I think it's still the decisive favorite next round regardless

if Undertale pulls this out the anti-voting will hurt it a lot more next round

if Octopath wins it won't be artificially boosted by Undertale anti-votes

You can go by anticipated polls

Basically gives us an indication of the fans

KH3 beat RE2 in "Most wanted games for January 2019" only to lose to the same game when asked about GOTY so far 3 months later.

MOst anticipated is a good indicator of a franchises pull on here.

I don't think Undertale is gonna rally, but I still think it's gonna come out on top. I don't think Octopath has any lasting power.

Also to those wondering how DMCV could beat DKTF

DKTF is a Wii U Game. Its not all that strong.

DMCV is below the likes of Sekiro and Red Dead 2 as well. The only DK game worth a damn is DKC2.

I'm not sure why so many if you were high Tropical Freeze. It was always going to be several orders of magnitude worse than DKC2, which only looked alright in a year of SNES dominance

Wow, the Undertale subreddit has fewer active users than the Danganronpa subreddit. I don't think they're going to bail the game out.

I have a hard time seeing Tekken substantially ahead of MK, or even likely to be ahead at all.

Remember how well Mass Effect Andromeda was anticipated?

it didn't have to be anywhere close to DKC2 to beat DMC5!

Gogogo Octopath! I'll be happy to lose that point (either way though I'm feeling much better about my Shovel Knight pick next round).

What are Undertale's trends, even? We never got to see what they were.

I don't think it's a guarantee it does worse in the early game than with the later voters, anyway.

yes we would all assume that because MK historically is stronger than Tekken

but it means nothing as far as gauging how strong the individual games are

And Had MEA been an amazing game it would have been #2 GOTY that year behind BOTW.
