I originally had Doom winning this division as a pure fanboy pick.

I can't believe that might actually be happening and I changed my mind anyway.

Feeling pretty bad that my original take was Doom over Bloodborne until something convinced me that RE2 was winning this half division

After thirty minutes of blowout data, I'm thinking DOOM's the favorite now against RE2, and I think whoever wins DOOM/Bloodborne wins the division.

I think it's the latter. I have no love for Souls-type games, but voted BB because it's not CoD.

That's why we should have actually had Skyward Sword, FFXIII, Mario 3D World, all the Pokemon in the bracket. They at least would have some midcarder (for this bracket) strength.

Not liking Fire Emblem's performance. Good thing I have Awakening losing next round and Three House to Xenoblade.

Relax, it's doubling a 10-seed. The other losers in today's four-pack are a visual novel, an indie game, and a hated game.

Calling it now, Fire Emblem vs Bloodborne will be a classic.

I still think RE2 wins, but there's a chance DOOM might get match-winning support because it's not a remake.

DOOM/RE2 and FEA/BB are gonna be stellar matches.

Bloodborne is too tough for the other games here, only few games can beat Bloodborne and those are the juggernauts of open world gaming, things like Breath of the Wild, Witcher 3, Skyrim. Other games i think have low chances, but i could be wrong.
Games like Last of Us or God of War or Resident Evil can upset it, but BB has the higher favor.

FF12 would still beat it today.

FF12 is a game that gets stronger every time they release a garbage FF game. After 13 12 got stronger. After 15 and the HD releases 12 would comfortably beat most non nintendo and non rpg games on here.

i have played doom. Game is great. Eternal was a bit of a dissapointment but on this site its not going to beat out heavy hitters of big franchises

Bloodborne was always a real threat to reach its division finals, and DooM was always an outside dark horse. If anything, I don't see where this upwelling of inevitability toward RE2 is coming from. I'm not sure why it's considered a clear favorite to get through this gauntlet, and I say this as someone who loves it.

i dont think it is a clear favourite against bloodborne. But it will beat Doom.

bloodborne is an unknown. All of these ps4 exclusives are.

we still dont know how strong god of war is or soiderman/uncharted.

either way right now mass effect 2 is still the favourite to win this division. Even if its less of a favourite than before

and if were blowing steam up bloodbornes arse.

why hasnt more people talked up dark souls as a potential longshor for final? Dark souls is arguably one of the most respected games this decade.

remake3 is way more popular has quadruple the amount of traffic than eternal on this site and im talking about ps4 board alone

Ok, that's too hard a flex lol. ME2, RE2, BB, and even DooM are close enough in range that going this big with your boast just looks silly. ME2 is still the favorite imo - if nothing else, it has the least contentious path through the division.

goty poll isnt that relevant. Re2 could be stronger or weaker

goty is just on that year alone. The reason god of war done so anazingly well against smash is because people were voting on that year alone and gow was the most respected and acclaimed game.

hindsight and history are powerful things

awakening has many years of built up respect.
