This really depends on which SW fanbase you’re talking about. The people who actually saw it in the 70s are fine.

Disco Elysium would be in a lot better shape if it had home console releases right now.

It's a science fiction themed puzzle game. Definitely counts as "just happy to be here," and I'm definitely just happy it's here.

yeah I think this is more of an indictment of TWD (which wasn't great in 2015 to begin with) than Bastion showing any real strength

Fallout 4 at least showed out well against Witcher 3 in 2015 GOTY

I'd love to see VVVVVV beat it though!

This is hugely divergent, but the way the DooM and Animal Crossing fanbases came together gave me good vibes for like a month. Those seem like two of gaming's better communities.

Fallout 4 has 'anti-vote me' pasted on its back. It rode a lot of hype when it came out but time and public opinion has been VERY harsh to it. Though depending on your viewpoint FO76 has either taken that burden off 4's back, or has just exasperated the problem.

i’m so mad at myself, I totally had Bastion originally then got convinced to switch by the board. I figured maybe my pick was biased by my love of the game. oh well

Bastion does seem like it'd be in my wheelhouse, looking at the summaries and such on Google. I might have to add that to my quarantine-gaming slate.

yeah I think Fallout 4 will be weaker than it appeared in 2015 but it'd have to have really tanked to lose to VVVVVV

can confirm, I really want to play disco elysium but I'm waiting for the PS4 release first

I was specifically choosing TWD here because of its performance against Uncharted 2.

I don't think there's an indie game better equipped to embarrass GTAV than Cuphead. Even if you haven't played it, that's a really easy art style to throw an anti-establishment vote towards.

Really REALLY wanted FFXV in this side of the division. The very sight of DQXI devouring FFXV would have been an amazing sight.

It wasn't necessarily fodder, but it was a low midcarder. It was going to get 60/40'd at least by Sonic 2, which only got 53% on Portal 2 the round before.

Cuphead > GTAV would kill my bracket in cold blood, but I still want to see it. That's not a diss to GTA, I was just blown away by Cuphead. That might be a top 10 game for me.

The games ended up having the same release date. The two fanbases, who you think would hate each other, came together. It was beautiful to be a part of.

There are hundreds of memes about Doomguy playing with flowers and Isabelle being a demon killing badass.

I gave Cuphead some thought. I mean it could pull it off. But that match will determine how well GTAV does in the next match

I do have it losing to RDR but we'll see.

RDR is lower in the Rockstar hierarchy. If RDR beats Persona, it won't beat GTAV.
