the record, I hope I'm wrong. 3H deserves to win that division and I
would loooooove to write a PCA for that match about how I was an idiot
for ever thinking Xenoblade = DKC2. But I just cannot get that Smash backlash out of my head. I believe that match happens at the same time Smash Ultimate's round 3 match happens, too. Assuming the stats page is accurate, it seems like we have 8702 entries for this contest. That is higher than the previous contest which had 7221 entries for that contest, although we had the benefit of a yellow site alert running for a combined length of about 8 days. Plus, the rather long bracket entry period due to the 2 contest delays, and possibly even higher site traffic due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. Last
contest only two entries managed to break 80% at all (Megaman X and
Amaterasu), and characters breaking 75% was very hard too. I don't know if that's a trend, but maybe it is, and huge blowouts just don't happen anymore. |
