FE3H > Xenoblade hombre Three Houses probably wouldn't do THAT well in any other division (it'd def lose to most of the 1st and 2nd seeds), but it's in prime position to overperform in D4 and against Xenoblade. I think it'll have the SFF edge both in Nintendo hierarchy and in terms of commanding a more devoted JRPG style fanbase. By which I mean, thanks to the dozens of characters and branching story, it has a strong tumblr-esque fanbase that has increased its profile through fanart and other such things. If someone is a Nintendo fanboy who has played and enjoyed both games, I'm betting they pick 3H due to its continued stronger presence. If you haven't played either, you also pick 3H because you've seen hawt Edelgard x Byleth fanart on social media. If

I had RE2>ME2 at the start and wouldn't be surprised if that ends up happening now i've changed it to ME2. |

I don't necessarily trust RE2 to be all that strong, per se. There's no telling how strong Three Houses and Sekiro actually are. |

Division 6 give anyone else a headache? Top half is straightforward,
bottom half is kinda goofy. I have Portal 2 getting to division finals
but I'm not at all confident in that KHIII is a punchline but maybe JRPGFaqs carries it over the western games? Or maybe RDR 2 is really legit and takes out the last Valve game people here liked? Ahhhhhh it's hard If

More lasting appeal, maybe, and there's a "Favorite '2' game" poll where Portal 2 beats RDR2; although take that as you wish. KHIII is gonna bomb, though, just as FFXV. Smash 4 would have fallen off a cliff, Samus Returns would be weaker than Metroid Fusion which already wasn't good, and Super Mario Maker already got doubled by Fire Emblem Awakening. And Skyward Sword is only notable because of ZELDA - it would be a pretty middle-of-the-pack game even in a contest like this. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

I don't care how many gurus/oracles/bops/whatevers picked Xenoblade or what their reasons were or what the seeding was -- DKC2 was the favorite in that match. It was one of my best calls all contest. I also don't think 3H is more popular than Awakening, the Smash fans are going to anti vote the s*** out of 3 Houses, and 3 Houses couldn't beat Resident Evil 2 just a few weeks ago. I would pick 3 Houses if I could, but I just can't. That is fast becoming a hated series. Don't think of this in terms of how well you think Xenoblade would do. Pretend it's DKC2. Don't you pick DKC2 to win that division without thinking about any of its matches?
