Which are the only two systems and categories it could have been up for. Also Exclusives sort of take priority with his selection. But yeah Allen messed up not including KH3. Sometimes you have to not be robotic and go with common sense options. The PS4 options were abysmal. And although I laughed at the exclusion of Skyward Sword. HAving thought about it I'm pretty disappointed its not in. Yes i dislike the game and think its one of the worst Zelda games...but in the context of this contest and how we analyse everything..it would be nice to see a ZElda game get beat by even most non Nintendo tier 1 games. Witcher 3, Skyrim even Persona 5 imo would have SS beat. But would be nice to see those matches. (edited 3/3/2020 9:46:12 AM) |

I almost think I'd lean toward MGSV because the feeling of disappointment isn't as fresh in people's minds. |

That's pretty evenly distributed, but it's still clear that some years
were better than others. 2017 is a solid contender for best and 2011 for
worst. Guinness Book of World Records is the name of the diary that belongs to Advokaiser, the winner of the Character Battle X guru contest. |

You have to look at what the 2011 games are though: Skyrim Dark Souls Arkham City Portal 2 Deus Ex Human Revolution Minecraft Dead Space 2 Terraria Ghost Trick Add to that it being a year where a lot of the most notable snubs congregate (Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3, Mortal Kombat, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land) and that’s a good year right there. However, as with 2010 it certainly hurts from being at the very beginning of the indie boom. Those years only have one each (Minecraft doesn’t count.). I just decided to change this sig. I'm worried about no bop this year. I thought of trying to do myself but I dunno how to run the script stuff people usually do. At most I can ask people to post their picks in order and write a simple VBA program that spits the cookie, but that means y'all will have to write the picks, as opposed to using that script thingy that copypastes your picks from the bracket itself. Smash most likely didn't get enough votes nor should it be in this contest because Smash Ultimate makes it obsolete. Everything else bar SS is just not popular enough here. Skyward Sword ommision leads me to believe that game didn't get the support I'm kind of glad. This is ZEldaFAqs afterall. SS winning any close matches would have been awful because its a mediocre game tha would have gotten boosted by Zeldafaqs |

Otherwise games like SOTC and Wind Waker have more of a reason to be included. It sort of is a remaster. Because it got Widescreen support, updated visuals and new voices/music as well as new content. Its an enhanced port. Lets leave it at that. Either way ports/remasters shouldn't be included But i'm glad it is included. Because I didn't play P4 until GOlden. Also i'm going through my bracket again and i'm tearing my hair out on P4/Red Dead I mean P4 to me could be incredibly popular..it should be. But i don't know. Golden has more than one or two new things. It almost has an entirely separate game's worth of new content. |
