lot of the games in this poll have already gotten versions on newer

The encounter rate in the Cube version isn’t really that bad (really, most RPGs of the era with random encounters are no better), it’s the slow pace of the battles themselves that hold the game back. And it's still a top ten game anyway Honestly once you get S-Moves that hit all enemies and can use them every turn the battles go a lot faster |

It’s been four years, and the zeitgeist has mostly shifted - especially in SM64’s case. XY also came within a few dozen votes of beating Link Between Worlds in
the 2013 3DS poll, and LBW later beat out The Last of Us and GTAV in
