think Skyrim could probably get 54+% on God of War reboot like Ultimate
did last GOTY, but pretty much anything hokey going on is going to be
in Smash's favor so it may need to be cleanly above if it wants to
actually win. Double registered voters would swing at least a percent
and if it's close nobody's going to successfully rally Elder Scrolls to

Nice to see THPS2 in there! But even when I'm not really a fan of Street Fighter II (I consider its sequels and spin-offs far superior), it's pretty surprising not seeing it here (or MKII), since that's one of the most popular "2"s of all time. Some other interesting titles to have would be Lufia II, Suikoden II... maybe even Dark Cloud 2? You could make a case with Earthbound by technically being Mother 2. There are so many potential choices here. It's an honor being part of Board 8's community. |

The oldest game in that poll was Resident Evil 2, which was released in 1998. It was the only game from the 1990s in the poll. Personally, I would have kept Dark Souls II and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 out of this poll in favor of more 1990s representation such as Sonic 2 and Street Fighter II. results of today's poll are very disappointing. Slightly over half of
the site doesn't know any of the starters past the early generations.
That's really disappointing for the series as a whole, and is likely a
decent proxy for the percentage of the site that hasn't played a Pokemon

I still don't quite understand how there are so many people that not only liked but adored
the first generation(s), yet they refuse to play the ones that came
after them. I know there are the so-called "genwunners", which is a
special case, but there's also a handful of people who only got to the
second or third gens and that's it. It's an honor being part of Board 8's community. |

@LusterSoldier I have played every Pokemon game and some multiple times and I can't even remember most of the starters too. @Advokaiser The people that do are either stupid or they think that Pokemon is only for kiddies now and since they played the first games when they were kids and now are grown up they refuse to play the newer ones. So why we exist? What happens when we stop existing? |
