Do you need to activate an option on the settings for you to be registered under certain country/state?

It appears that the map for Mexico is very bugged. Given that the DF is the largest region in Mexico by population, it's really strange that there aren't any votes from there. I went back through past polls, and it's been like that for the past few months of polls. I might have to report this issue to Allen eventually.

I noticed a few matches ago that Rio De Janeiro was coming in at 100% for one of the characters (the one that was losing in Brazil). I know our votals have collapsed, but I can't imagine they've fallen off so hard that we are getting single digits from Rio either.

tbh at this point I'm pretty convinced the bandwagon is Cloud's, so yeah, he will be leading Link for a bit.

Well, it only lasted four minutes but it was still nice to see.

Excellent run by Cloud. Had every reason to fall to both Mario and Zelda but he still got himself to the grand final.

I feel Cloud threw every last ounce of energy he could muster into trying to hold off Link to the freeze. He managed four minutes and then fell apart. Link too strong.

Man, these Link anti-votes are real.

Well, not quite five minutes, but that's the longest Cloud has led Link since 2005.

On the note of the match pictures, it looks like Allen did make one adjustment to the code.

They now correspond, so the Amiibos always spawn with each other, as do the crossdressing ones, and the Link sprite vs. Cloud model, and the Smash 4 artwork. Hell, even the Wind Waker Link goes alongside Chibi style Cloud.

That.....was a much smaller jump than Link got on Cloud the first time or Zelda on the 2nd update.

I mean, I'm pretty sure he does too. But it would be pretty cool if Cloud can keep this in range so that it's still in doubt for a few hours.

Votals are kind of low. We are 250 behind Link/Zelda, which had Mario/Samus spillover, and 100+ behind Cloud/Zelda, which had Mario/Cloud spillover. But we are also 60 behind Mario/Cloud and I don't know why that would be.

I feel like a lot of regulars might be holding their vote until the end instead of at the beginning.

It would be just like Link fans to start getting worried after seeing Cloud beat two Nintendo characters in a row and think that they might need to hold their Cloud vote until they've determined that they don't actually need to vote for Link to make sure he wins.

But um.......it's looking like Cloud really might get that 45%. Link rose less than 1% from here to the end in round 1 with Cloud.

Finals just tend to be closer I think. There's been quite a few overperformances in finals that seem a bit inexplicable. You need to have a huge advantage to really rock in the final and I don't think Link has it when there's an element of the site in "Anyone but Link" mode (Zelda threatening to run over the contest and come 2nd probably didn't help).

Not bad Cloud! He might actually finish above 40% , I think Cloud is clearly the #2 he would win against Samus no problem.

This has been a really fun (& long!)contest and even though the LAW stands it's good to see Cloud remains really strong.

I'm on Team Samus for #2.

Maybe this current iteration of Cloud could beat her with his momentum, but neutral field I'll take Samus without much hesitation. tbqh, I'd take Mario too, I think there was a real factor coming from that Samus match.
