...So Aerith got 37.81% on Super Zelda that can beat Snake and Mario. She
looked like a near-elite in the early 2000s and I wonder if her
strength was underrated since then. She ran into Squall immediately in
2007, missed 2008 and ran into Auron immediately in 2010, so we didn't
get any non-SFF reads on her. In 2013, she ran into Shepard who
immediately ran into Draven, so we don't have any good reads on her

Half of me thinks that Zelda > Mario saves my bracket since I'm in the Top 15 But then the other half thinks if Zelda > Snake > Mario then my Snake > Mario at this point may have gotten me Top 5 if not for Zelda scorching the earth |

checked the poll. I always knew Mario was going to win this match but I
expected Zelda to hold a much larger lead than she currently has and
for much longer than it’s looking like she will. Once again, I’m ahead

Granted it's a little bit cheaty but what do the x-stats say if you run Seph's strength through his Tifa loss and then run that through Samus and then Mario? I assume that has him marginally weaker than his straight up Mario loss. I don't think that's quite enough to put Aerith > Seph in the x-stats though right? |

Answering my own question unless I've mathed it wrong which is possible given I had a lot of beer last night. Based off of what Zelda is doing now to Mario (Mario @49.58 when I started working this out) Zelda - 50 Seph (Seph/Mario) - 40.4 Tifa (Tifa/Samus 2) - 39.88 Tifa (Tifa/Samus 1) - 39.56 Seph (Tifa/Samus 2) - 38.01 Aerith - 37.81 Seph (Tifa/Samus 1) - 37.71 |

Zelda/Aeris match is the weirdest match in this contest The only way to explain this is that Zelda strength actually comes from hentai rallies (which wouldn't help against Aeris) and they existed before the Tifa/MMX match or something Yeah I got nothing wololo |
