The URL structure for today's pictures was slightly changed: https://gamefaqs.akamaized.net/images/x/user/snake-f-ulti-sprite.png Compare that to yesterday where the URL structure looked like this: https://gamefaqs.akamaized.net/images/x/user/ganon-f-sprite-ulti.png The word "sprite" comes after the username in today's URLs, unlike with yesterday's URLs. This explains why I couldn't find the Snake sprite picture by replacing "ganon" in the second URL with "snake" instead. For comparison, in 2010, Tifa fell 6% when facing Sephiroth from the first 5 minutes to the end of the match. She's currently up by 56%. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

I doubt the Losers bracket had anything to do with this, but we'll need to see some non-sprite matches in the Losers bracket to test this theory out. This contest... We saw this match in 2010 already, Sephiroth looked respectable in rounds 1-4. At the back of my head I thought that Tifa might pull something off but the rational side of me was "Nah, Sephiroth has this". Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality. |

This result suggests Ryu is worth ~27% on Samus but ~32 percent on Mario What the hell is this If all else fails use fire. |

But yeah, sprite vs. sprite matches are really bad for judging character strengths. Out of all these pictures, the Auron one looks the worst, so I could see him being hurt the most from today's matches.
