One topic with 12 posts over a 17 hour time frame is definitely enough to prove that Ganondorf would have been able to turn around a 60-40 match outside the sprite round guyZ

Actually, if official canon is to be believed, Ganon and Ganondorf ARE the same character across every game, unlike the various Links and Zeldas.

Right?

What is the difference between Ganon and Ganondorf?

Ganon is when he is a pig-monster-thing, and Ganondorf is his original human form.

All I know is that I'm nominating Ganon into the next contest.

While we're at it Dabbing Mario showed potential and although he is 100% weaker than Normal Mario, 60% on Sephiroth is no joke.

Analysis

The writing was on the wall all contest for Metal Gear characters, but it was still impressive to see Solid Snake drop enough to lose to Zelda. The good news for him is that Zelda is strong and that Auron hasn’t looked the greatest, though he did look okay against Sonic. Regardless on paper he should defeat Auron by more than what Sonic did last round.

Now if Solid **** makes his reappearance we could see an interesting match. While it won’t be an instant victory for Auron it would give him a great chance to stay alive. Based on previous incarnations of Solid **** and that Auron’s sprite won’t be impressive like Frog was in 2004 we typically see Solid Snake 55/45 his weaker self. That should be enough to hold onto victory, but definitely not what Solid Snake wants to see. My prediction will be based on a normal picture.

Analysis

While Cloud and Sephiroth fell over the last decade or so Tifa has stayed relatively constant to the point where she finished ahead of Cloud and Sephiroth on the adjusted 2013 stats. Now I don’t exactly believe Tifa is stronger than the two, but I do feel she is pretty close. Both Tifa and Sephiroth got similar performances against Samus and Mario respectively and direct matches aside the two seem to have similar strength.

Historically, Tifa has held up quite well against Sephiroth, avoiding SFF in 2/3 matches involving the two characters. I’m not expecting SFF here either, for the most part Final Fantasy VII fans don’t have a hierarchy of characters that is susceptible to SFF and if it were to occur, I’d expect it to be relatively smaller than what we see among Nintendo characters.

Just think about how much Mario would have gotten if it weren't for your evil sabotaging ways.

Actual Mario would have gotten a doubling, and I hope whoever makes the final adjusted X-stats factors this in.

As I said in your sprite round celebration topic, I only wish you had everyone in the loser's bracket have a 'I got beaten up to get here' pic like Ganon, because that is so dang good.

Man if Alucard won here, I would consider this most impressive than non NNers beating NNers!

There aren't many Ganon pictures with him looking to the right. That's a much more difficult picture standard than you all think it is.

Nah Sonic has plenty of right-looking sprites since 100% of the gameplay in those games is "hold down the 'right' button".

Maybe Tifa can do it here I think. Pretty sure she is really close to Seph and as everyone mentioned she and Aerith haven't dropped much. But we shall see.

I don’t think sprites should be allowed for characters who’s original form is 3D models.

The URL structure for today's pictures was slightly changed:

Compare that to yesterday where the URL structure looked like this:

https://gamefaqs.akamaized.net/images/x/user/ganon-f-sprite-ulti.png

The word "sprite" comes after the username in today's URLs, unlike with yesterday's URLs.
