4 people fell off the Top 50. TylerF, gitanil, haloiscoolisbak and Seanchan did not have Pikachu winning.

46 people only got Link right and mostly stayed in place. TheBiggerWiggle, SpikeDragon, XIII_rocks, Steevo_234, Cb7799, Zylothewolf, Cody11533, TeamRocketElite, pronouncemyname, Vegink, Lukejalil, Nanis23, Osfan, ALAKA, hylianknight3, PSI_NESS, Captain_Sorzo, th3l3fty, art_of_the_kill, KeepinItFresh, redrocket, pirate109, Moonroof, iGenesis, GTM, Safer_777, Metal_DK, half_silver28, Mr_Monkford, DoctorJimmy133, FFIXOwner, BradyFumbled, scaryice, Advokaiser, ZenOfThunder, GoldSlime35, fpce666, VegetarianKefka, Ranticoot, AxemRedRanger, Amyson, Metal_Mercenary, NeoElfboy, Underleveled, Gyarados and Fart also only had Link winning.

SoraLink2649 was the top ranked person to score full points. They jumped from 63rd to 20th.
This was not the best year for my bracket.

Fox McCloud

And I'm assuming fox has lost to a few non-NNers? Would be interesting to see how deep we'd have to go to get to another group that has only lost to a member of the same group.

Second Chance bracket prediction stats:

Pikachu - 63.55%

Damn, I was surprised Pikachu was the overall favorite among the total brackets.

I'm wondering if that's people becoming more confident in Pika between the initial bracketmaking and the second chance, or if Mega Man was perceived as vulnerable from the start! I'm sure Mega's percentage in main brackets is higher if for no other reason than that Zero was literally the 1-seed in that division, but I wouldn't be surprised if Mega Man breaks 25% in prediction percentage for that loser's bracket match in main brackets--and that's even taking into account that a few odd brackets might have him 2-and-out!

Yeah. If you go to all 1v1 matches, it becomes a far more comprehensive list of midcarders, including all of the other division winners. Tifa is allowed in regardless since her only 1v1 losses are to actual Noble Niners, and X because his only 1v1 loss to a non-NNer is to Tifa this year. Bowser and Charizard, too; neither of them have lost 1v1 to a non-NNer outside of their 1-1 record against each other.

Full list:

Missingno
Auron
Squall
Ganondorf
Vincent
Magus
Alucard
Knuckles
Sora
Bowser
Red
Mega Man X
Tifa
Charizard
Zero
Luigi
Yoshi

Add that to the 13 mentioned before and we've got...30 characters. I feel like Fox is still the weakest one in the group.

Legends and Loser Bracket, Round 1

Link vs. Ganondorf
Registered Vote Result:
Link - 7293 (79.19%)
Ganondorf - 1917 (20.81%)

Anonymous Vote Result:
Link - 8388 (80.44%)
Ganondorf - 2040 (19.56%)

Mega Man vs. Pikachu
Registered Vote Result:
Mega Man - 4554 (49.43%)
Pikachu - 4659 (50.57%)

Anonymous Vote Result:
Mega Man - 5288 (50.71%)
Pikachu - 5140 (49.29%)

Link does slightly over 1% worse with registered users, possibly due to anti-votes.

Pikachu does perform better with registered users, but only slightly more than 1% higher compared to anonymous users. This match had the winner changed by the registered user bonus, as Mega Man would have won by 43 votes without the bonus applied.

These 2 matches had 46.90% and 46.91% of their total raw votes coming from registered users, though I haven't done any research to determine how many rallied votes we had in these matches.

...Crono's doing as well on Bowser as Pikachu did on Yoshi. With Pikachu = Mega Man, I'd say this makes Crono stronger than Mega Man unless you think Yoshi is as strong as Bowser!

Well, we'll find out eventually. Pikachu and Crono should both lose next round, and they should both get rematches with their round one opponents. Assuming they win their rematches as well, they'll meet in the loser's bracket!

Crono putting on the boosters now. You know, Crono/Bowser 2006 started with Crono at around 62% and people applauding his strength and talking about his chances against Samus, and ended in disappointment at 57% after the day vote. This match could very well end around the same 57% after the night vote after starting off badly during the day.

I think the historical Mario/Bowser ratio is around 58/42 though, so 57% is a tad disappointing for me. We need to do a little better than that, Crono.
