Bowser should be clearly stronger, that 2007 match was a long time ago and Auron looked pretty mediocre in every match in his division. In anything 2010 or before though I'd definitely take Auron.

we don't knw that. Auron is probably weak. Would you take Auron to beat Tifa Pikachu or Bowser? Nope

auron is doing as well as xstats predict for 2k13. Pikachu predicted to beat him that year 54-45/46. So Sonic by this result is at least MM level. Bowser is 1% weaker than auron in 2k13. I really don't know how they stand this year though why Im reluctant to say much about it.

Auron should be the weakest in the bracket, except Alucard. And I'm not even sure about that anymore.

But Sonic will make a classic Sonic victory, not looking great but never in any danger of actually losing the match.

If anyone cared enough to try rally for Snake, David Hayter might retweet something. He has in the past right?

This is the most pyrrhic victory ever for Sonic.

He's doing his job as a low N9er but in the meantime Zelda is killing the former #2 in the other match.

15th in second chance now, but if Zelda wins it will be my last appearance.

Also why couldn't Mega Man have gotten the chump change matches

Give him Bowser or Alucard or Ganondorf or Auron instead of a hypercharged rat

(don't give him Zelda though)

Using DDD/Ocelot trends, the next update will be a stall and the update after that will be a monster Zelda gain.

Its going to be interesting if Zelda rSFFs Mario next round lol. Maybe Snake fell off, but this result looks in line with 2010? Mario could be in trouble.

I'd be surprised if Ganondorf was Pikachu level since that would put Dante above Zero in 2018, which sounds kind of ridiculous

Zelda is very unlikely to lose this match. Once you get past the "what" factor of Snake struggling with like...anyone who isn't Link or Mario, you look at it and see a Nintendo character barely managing a lead in the Power Hour.

The night vote won't be kind to Zelda. We've seen these types of matches before (Dedede/Ocelot, K Rool/Shepard) and the trends aren't favorable to Zelda barring a rally.

Dorf has no presence in BotW, he’s not gonna get the boost Zelda did. Maybe a small one due to a general Nintendo/Smash boost, but I doubt he beats Mega Man.

Snake has been in downfll for 3 years.

MGSV(I loved the game) had a Voice actor change which people didn't like. MGSV was a hit or miss for the fans.

Kojima left. Effectively killing off MGS

Konami are one of the most hated Company out there.

Take ALL those hings into consideration and BOTW's Zelda boost You can't be too surprised by this result. If anything Zelda should be winning by more.

Also This versionn of Snake is NOT the version that got 46.5% on Link and Staight up Beat Seph in 2012.

Oh yeah, also forgot to post KPStats (tm) for today.

Snake/Zelda is N/A because we had no idea how much Snake was going to fall, but if he hadn't fallen, he gets about 57% here. Yup.

Assuming Sonic hadn't fallen, he's projected to also get about 57%.

Is 56% in England enough for Snake to 'dominate' the night vote

I mean this result isn't over yet, no guarantee Zelda holds on through the night with how frontloaded all Nintendo characters are

There were fairly big rallies for both (by the same guy; forget who). Earlier he posted that the MM one had more upvotes but fewer views. Guessing the latter is the more relevant number, but who knows

I find this hard to believe. If Snake hasn't dropped, then you have to assume that something weird happened in Aeris/Zelda, because 62% on Aeris is much weaker than what Snake was capable of in the past.

With all this Switch Hype and BOTW fandom. I'm beginning to think that if Snake does BEat Zelda in a Close match he should be given Star of the Round.

the "power hour" is very diluted these days because its during the prime time people are on the site to begin with. Nintendo had a much stronger power hour back when it was midnight EST that people were voting

Yeah, Snake likely retakes the lead over the next few hours and builds enough overnight to hold on, but the damage has still been done. Phyrric victory.

And to compare trends and all, Zelda ended first hour at 62.09% against Squall and ended up at 63.32%. She ended first hour at 62.71% against Aerith and ended at 62.19%. Both scenarios would give her the win here, and those were against FF characters who should have good night votes.
