the best in 64, still top tier in Melee, Brawl and Smash 4, and looks to
be the best again in Ultimate (so far). Fox, according to top players
who tried him in Ultimate, feels much worse than any other Smash game. You felt your sins weighing down on your neck. |

Both Snake and Sonic needed 4 contests to get a big win, instead of looking like the upset will happen one day. Wow, interesting stuff. Though there are definitely some oddities on that page, such as "expected seed" being dictated by X-Stat finish within the division, resulting in the #5 character in the X-stats being "expected to be a 4-seed" while the #62 character is "expected to be a 14-seed". And that's from the same division! Mega Man murdered his first two matches, resulting in his second opponent literally finishing ahead of only his own first opponent and Mega's first opponent, and then both division semifinals and the division finals were really close, resulting in the four of them finishing #2-#5 when Sephiroth put up a better number on Link in the Semis than Mario did in the Finals. Actually now that I look at it, outside of the two matches where Mega Man murdered everyone, the West Division held up really well all around! 8 of the top 14 finishers in the Raw X-Stats came from that one division. Kind of fluky though; Tidus managed to get unexpectedly close to Sonic, and that was a round 2 match so he dragged his first opponent up with him. They were the bottom of the Noble Nine, to be sure, but any attempt to expand the Noble Nine would give them wins against fellow members of whichever expansion you wanted to use.
