Hey guys remember that one time I convinced basically the entire board that Golden Sun would beat San Andreas? This is relevant information eight years later that I should - nay, deserve to brag about.

I can't remember what I picked in that match but I'm fair sure after CJ stunk the place up against Ness there was no way I was picking SA to win.

To compare some more TRENDS: Luigi cut about 60 votes that hour. In the same hour, MMX gained about 170 (pretty sure it was her worst hour of the match).

I'm actually capable of admitting a bad pick though. Stats people aren't. They just make up random adjustments and "factors" when "yeah I was dumb, better luck next year!" is all you need.

I admit being wrong all the time. Fearing rallies this year was dumb, for example, because no one cares about GameFAQs anymore. Geralt could have cakewalked to winning the contest but the developers literally don't give a s*** about this site enough to care.

I started rallying Luigi on various sites, idk who Luigi loses to but it won't be to this b****. Tifa needs to be stopped, taking out far superior and more interesting characters like Megaman and Mewtwo. Ugh.

Does not connect to the contest at hand bub. This is a video game Character contest where the most memorable and best characters should win. I'm all for Lugi losing to like, Samus Aran but Tifa is a one off dead hacked bimbo from an overrated game. Luigi is still thriving with many games and his own series. So f*** Tifa.

So here's some simple logic for the people who think the rally for Tifa and the ones for Draven/Undertale were the same.

Draven/Undertale WON THE CONTEST with their rallies.

So if Tifa loses AT ANY POINT, you have to admit that you were wrong and there was a very big key difference.

She absolutely beats him one on one in 2002 with out cheating (yes, I know she cheated too in the Sonic match, but not Mario levels).

No f***ing question.

In 2002 Mario was #8. End of story.

And no amount of RSFF, or “Nintendo fans get in line” was going to make up that difference they had. Now blatant cheating and CJ failing.... yeah sure. But actual strength, not even close.

Mario trounces her every other year from 03 onwards however.

Oh yeah, 2002 is when Luigi was still a shadow and not developed. Ff7 was still fresh. Fine.

You do realize that’s only 3 points higher than what Cloud got on her right?

If Link needed significant SFF to pull that off, Samus was a monster that year.

I suspect relative SFF levels actually change quite a bit over time. I don’t think Link will get 88% or whatever on Ganon again, for instance (could be wrong).
