I actually kinda prefer Bomberman 64 to the Second Attack but yeah all N64 Bomberman is good Bomberman. Even Bomberman Hero No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
Finally got around to Bomberman 64 and Hero earlier this year. Didn't quite 100% either but I beat the secret boss on both. Neither's single player is great but I preferred Hero's. It was much more action-packed and just seemed more fun on a basic level. Collecting everything necessary to unlock the final areas was less annoying in Hero. And the Bomb Jumping in Bomberman 64 was REAL janky. Bomberman 64 of course wins multiplayer though, because it actually exists! The
difficulty in Bomberman 64's bomb jumping kinda contributed to me
liking it a lot I think. It really felt like an accomplishment to move
through the levels in that game. I don't think it was as prominent in
Second Attack. It's kinda like why I prefer Super Metroid's wall jumping to Metroid Zero Mission's. Zero Mission's is 10x easier but half the fun in wall jumping was the sense of accomplishment in actually executing. No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Fun with numbers! If Tidus = Yuna, Alucard gets 53.44% on DK If Spyro = Crash, Chun-Li gets 52.72% on Big Boss If Kefka = Alucard, Peach gets 53.91% on L-Block |

agree that it's nice to see Bomberman looking decent for once. I love
his games. I haven't done much single-player, but I playing
multi-player with friends from time to time and have loads of fun. (We
all suck really badly, though.) "Ah,
a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So... what is
a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |

Crash
has been consistently stronger than Spyro except for maybe 2013. Big
Boss may have fallen but I don't take Chun-Li over him. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Oh right, I should include a couple more things, too. If Bomberman = Crash = Spyro, Kefka gets 57.30% on Big Boss and 46.07% on Ganondorf. If Tidus = Zidane = Cecil = Lightning: Dante gets 60.09% on DK Dante gets 54.63% on Zero Dante gets 59.34% on Big Boss Zero gets 56.01% on DK Zero gets 55.18% on Big Boss Big Boss gets 50.93% on DK if anyone wants any random number comparisons feel free to ask and I will do my best to comply (edited 11/5/2018 10:43:14 PM) |

Up to 9th place. Don't think I've ever been that high before. Or on the leaderboard for this many days. Having Sora winning the division and Riku winning 3 rounds will cost me though. My tiebreaker is way too high as well, I thought we'd have some rallies. |
also as strange as it is to say, Europe has arrived to save the day for Pokemon, it seems Red's really taking off now and Big Boss/Crash is one of those very rare matches where the percentages are very similar (and close to the overall result, to boot) in America, Canada, and the UK |

my bracket, but good for my oracle and battle challenge (same for Yuna

never found out...why didn't they do an expert challenge again ? Now my
bracket is dead I've lost quite a bit of interest in the tournament,
and the idea of having to update the bracket every day kept me involved.

The Expert Challenge was only for the 2013 contest with the 3-way format. It's the Battle Challenge that was used for the GotD and Rivals contest.
