Red and Sora were supposed to be similar in strength in 2010, right? It would be one thing if KH3 hype seemed to matter but if anything it's Smash hype that's taking over.

Red was weak in 2010. Red in 2013 a decent bit stronger than Sora.

Yeah, Red went 50/50 with Ocelot and only got 38-39% on MMX in 2010. Sora wasn't super great in 2010 or 2013, but I think 45% on Bowser is a bit better than that.

big boss struggling with crash genuinely hurts me

I have Sora winning the division. This is a disaster.

Only thing that can half redeem it is Kefka making a crazy run and beating everyone.

Alucard is looking extremely good right now. After all we've seen this contest, the Peaxh result is probably really good too.

My bracket says Sora > Kefka, so that means it's probably gonna be Red > Alucard.

KH3 hype so worthless

I feel like people are just tired of waiting for KH3 at this point.

Opinions might shift after the game comes out if it's actually really good, but I think this is just voter fatigue.

So if Crash and Spyro are so good now that Ganondorf is somehow redeemed a bit - just why is Chun-Li suddenly really strong?

Also I still think FFX is just a little weaker, Peach being better and Alucard being a lot better. SotN looked really good in 2015 too, it adds up.

If we have something similar for games, do we call it the "Tetris apathy factor"? Pac-Man is to characters as Tetris is to games in these contests.

Well, as one of the three Kefka backers in the Guru, this isn't bad, but I am getting a little worried about Alucard.

Also yo that Netflix Castlevania show is gooooooood. Best VG adaptation ever. Watch it. Alucard is in it.

Also also, I think people are overthinking things regarding stuff like pics and needing to vote in every match - Crash has a reason to boost tremendously. Every boost is entirely explainable.

No one expected Big Boss to struggle because people thought that Ridley was stronger than Crash. After today's early results, you would get the impression that Ridley simply hasn't boosted at all from that Smash reveal while Crash has somehow gotten a huge boost over the past few years.

Crash being stronger than Ridley is the biggest mind blown event to come out of today's matches. I certainly wouldn't have picked Crash over Ridley before this contest or even back in 2013.

Eh that netflix show was perfect until the last 2 episodes where they botched it.
