makes sense that Velvet would be better than, say, Yuri Lowell - her
game actually came out on platforms that people care about and was
(correct me if I'm wrong) the best received Tales game in a decade plus she's a girl although the Edgy Deboost probably balances that out "Those who cast the vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything." |
Yeah, I figured Velvet would probably be better than Yuri because that's not a particularly high bar to clear. Matching Lloyd is pretty darn impressive though, regardless of how old ToS is. |

I'm not entirely convinced that the hockey game actually played any role in Ryu's comeback after the game ended. Hovering over French Guyana simply says "France", yet French Guyana is somewhat unique in that it has its own country code. The
remaster has new scenes but they didn't get back all the voice actors
from the original game, so some scenes will have the originals and some
scenes will have stand-ins Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
also it's possible Yoshi's just not very good and hasn't been for a while that Squall/Sora combined beatdown they put on him in 2008 is still flat out embarrassing for him |

wow, I wasn';t aware of that. Having two different voice actors for the
same character is going to be weird, unless the new lines are not
voiced at all which would be the better option. It's not deal breaker

It's not deal breaker for me but a poor decision them. Persona 4 Golden did it for a couple of characters. It's definitely jarring when the voice actor very clearly changes in the middle of a scene. |
ToV remaster is dual audio at least, so going with the JP voices is still an option! The original dub was quite good though. All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. |
i'll take a different voice actor doing a few lines if it means we get loads of new content hell, i was fine with the new voiced, extremely-muted-because-nobody-can-do-their-ToS-voices attacks in the ToS remasters with the PS2 content You felt your sins weighing down on your neck. The results map also doesn't provide any easy way to see if there are any votes from French Guyana (and the results) unless you view the source code of the page that provides all of the data for the maps.
