@creativename Can you trigger a poll update for poll 7302 to 7305? The updater doesn't pick up the final update of the match (meaning I have to trigger a manual update). I would have manually triggered an update for yesterday's matches, but the site won't allow me to do that. The manual poll update URL only works for poll 7306 or higher now. Hmm,
vote totals seem lower than usual for the start of today's matches.
We're around 462 votes on average per match for the board vote today,
when this has generally been at least 100 votes higher for previous

number of picks for DK vs. Leon implies that every bracket had DK and
Leon winning in Round 1, which isn't the case. I'm guessing that DK's

other thing to consider is Velvet seemed to win the board vote and IIRC
Kratos has one of the worst early votes this side of FFVII. So I could
see this one looking less unfriendly to Yoshi > Pikachu prospects

will end up looking a lot better than he is right now. Plus, Yoshi has

He might be Keep in mind 07 and 08 were when Pokefear really started. Pika was our hero against L-Block in 08 after all. Charizard at minimum clearly lost a step since the peak of Pokemania so it stands to reason that Pikachu might as well and fall down to 07 and 08 levels No problem! Moreso than Yoshi I'd argue I'll grant you the first one, but that 2008 match is literally two Noble Niners and what at the time was an elite midcarder. I doubt he'd have beaten any of those three characters 1v1 at the time (though I do believe that he could beat Crono or Vincent 1v1 now, because he's arguably gotten stronger or at the very least avoided weakening whereas Crono and Vincent clearly have.) The loss to Fox, well, that was 15 years ago. Pikachu was a lot weaker in 2002 and 2003 than in every appearance since. "Someday I'll catch up, and then you'll all be surprised!" BKSheikah has the power. He is the one. |

I was only mildly annoyed that they weren't posting percentages since calculating them was easy. But now we have absolutely no way of telling how many people actually had the correct pick.
