I'm not ready to call it yet, but I think if Ocelot gets even 1-2 more updates like that it's probably over.

Actually, I wonder if Ocelot has been in the highest percentage of close matches (margin of victory of around 2% or less) of anybody.

He's been in 10 matches. 6 of them have been close matches. Heck, if you take out the three Villains Contest matches (since none of those were close), that's 6/7 (counting this one), and he's only ever won one of those (Ocelot/Jill in 2007) up until now. The only one that hasn't been close at all was his one match in CBIX.

more like it made Ocelot stronger because he's been confirmed for Smash now too

That one might be the kill shot.

I suppose you can never be totally confident in Ocelot (as I outlined above) and it's pretty rare for Nintendo to lose a close match like this, but I think it might be over.

I thought my 4/4 days were over, but it looks like Ocelot is going to pull through.

This is actually the 2nd time Ocelot has been placed in the same fourpack as X. Based on 2010 Ocelot gets about 37% on X.

Lot of Western characters are getting killed by the Squintendo rep by the early vote, and then coming back in the day some time later. IS this trend the new "the kiddies are waking up" ?

Draven will probably look like Sans or Monika did... But man, I do not trust that guy at all.

What if the subreddit mods forget that they have a rule against rallying long enough for the damage to be done, or what if they decide in the end to allow rallies to some extent? What if some popular streamer blows up everything? What if the subreddit isn’t even needed?

This is just me being paranoid, but better to lower expectations as much as possible, right?

yeah, i'm a bit surprised the crew unanimously took amaterasu. a draven rally seems unlikely with the subreddit not allowing rallies but it could happen.

also, the "look at what happened to monika and sans!" argument is ass. the league of legends community is entirely different from, respectively, the DDLC community and the undertale community.

RE characters have looked good this contest. I know Wesker has zero chance of winning but if he can manage to be ahead at the freeze, that would be amazing.

I was expecting Sephiroth to struggle in the first few minutes. He will end up in the low 70s which is pretty good.

2 people got one match wrong but survived. paulg235 and Polycosm also did not have Tifa, Mewtwo, Ocelot and Mega Man X winning.

a while back i said i think even base draven could double cayde-6 because that's just how weak cayde-6 is supposed to be

now i'm more inclined to think it's actually the reverse

...So if Draven faced Isabelle, how badly would Draven lose that match? Because if I'm doing the math right, he wouldn't break 40% on her even if we assume X and Ammy are equal. Could Draven beat anyone in the bracket?
