didn't benefit that much while the Direct was active. And just like
that, Dedede gets a 31 vote cut on the first full update after the

*wakes up; misses the last 25 minutes of the Direct due to low battery; checks results*... -Tifa nearly tripling Geno! Tifa > Luigi looking more likely now! -What? Mewtwo tanks even more?! I really hate to admit it, but he really turned out to be a fraud. -DDD losing in the exact same fashion as Magus. I somehow expected that (at least considering yesterday's trends). -X still crushing. Man, I really wish X > Mega Man was a thing. Here lies the sig of BK_Sheikah00, who swore fealty to the Gurus of Board 8. |

Why
do we think this Mewtwo performance is bad? Mewtwo and GlaDOS were next
to each other on the 2013 x-stats. I'm sure GlaDOS has fallen a bit,
but I think Mewtwo going 62-38 here is actually impressive. GlaDOS isn't

and rebellion...both ways are simple-minded--they are only for people
who cannot cope with contradiction and ambiguity. |

Even as the foremost expert in Mewtwo fraudulence, there's really nothing wrong with this performance. This is pretty much where I pegged this match. It's hard to say where GlaDOS is compared to 2013 (which was already a massive boost from where she was in 2010). Western characters have nearly all noticeably fallen off from 2013, and we don't yet know if GlaDOS is the rare exception. |

I'm actually wondering if the negative reaction to the Smash Direct is affecting this poll, because Ocelot really isn't having the trends I expected him to right now. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

GlaDOS is an exception, I imagine tone could be a big thing? It's dark
humor, but Portal is a lot more light-hearted than other big Western

I can't really call this a bad performance without knowing where GlaDOS is now. If she's fallen back down to 2010 levels (or worse), then yeah, it's not great. It's a potentially great performance if she's at the same level as 2013, but we won't know until round 2. |
GlaDOS is probably somewhere between 2010 and 2013 in strength. I think this Mewtwo performance is pretty good. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Came back from work, checked the results. Tifa almost tripling Geno? Guess he wasn't announced in Smash. Mewtwo is doing fine I believe. KD will win. I guess he is in Smash or something. Over 80% for X? Man biggest win so far. So yeah Smashfaqs. Even if someone's hat is there the owner of the hat will still get boosted here! So why we exist? What happens when we stop existing? |

Luigi has been one of the rare exceptions, but that's probably due to facing Edgeworth more than anything else. |
