I'm sure this has been talked about a lot, but man, my Shovel Knight pick got robbed! If I had known that the name "Toad" was right under the image I would have never picked SK! I picked Claire Redfield over the Ren banking on the name "Ren" being used. I sure hope Ren/Claire isn't close, because if it IS close, and the name "Joker" is used, I will have been screwed over twice from a different name under the pic.

Yeah I picked Claire too 100% off of the Ren name

But then again if the name is Joker and he wins then Persona 5, the best video game, gets a match win so that's nice too

Colors are inverted for the heatmap. Aeris is winning everywhere except China and Russia (thought they are strangely neck and neck in Canada).

Waluigi is the blue, and Aerith is red. Waluigi is winning China and Russia, according to the map, with Aerith winning everywhere else.

Waluigi is winning a select few states in the USA, though!

Man, this is a terrible result for D.Va. I had her beating Fox.

Toad is like the Nintendo fodder line, Aerith should be fine in the next round.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Waluigi's strength is hard to gauge at this point.

What's preventing you from making it?

Anyone in general gaming forums is going to be swamped from people's RDR2 highlights. A rally isn't happening. Unless you think 4chan is going to peel themselves away from virtual horse s*** to push a meme from last quarter.

In hindsight, I definitely should've picked D.Va over Aloy. Seems like a dumb decision now. Her and Overwatch were always going to have some more power than a protagonist from a good game.

True that. I did the same too.

Today was a relatively difficult day to get completely right. All four of these matches have some possibility for debate, though the character who probably should have been the favorite is currently winning each one. I would expect a lot of movement on the leaderboard once we get the results.

Aloy made it closer than I thought it was going to be. She's not gonna make up 1400 votes but I expected a sizable blowout.

I'm OK with my Shovel Knight > Captain Toad pick, it's a 1 pointer and it turned out to be the closest of the 4 matches today. Most Gurus, and almost all of the casuals are going to be losing a point (or more) today.

Aloy has cut 300 votes overnight. Too little, too late sadly.

Aloy needs to cut 11.95 votes per update to come back.

As a former WoW player, I can attest to this.

I had Aerith winning this 8 pack and I have a reasonable amount of hope that can still happen.

I’m never taking Waluigi to win a match again unless he’s facing turbo fodder. Sad Aerith gets to be one of the few FF characters advancing since she was one of the least good ones to make the field

I had Aeris winning this 8 pack and I now know that Fox is going to impale her.
