Maybe voters are voting for female empowerment due to Trump?

She's cut about 50-60 votes off of Charizard's peak lead.

But they've basically been stalling out for the last couple hours.

Terra has cut about 50 votes from Charizard's peak lead from about 1.5 hours ago.

am i wrong or did the detailed map used to give more info? i thought it went beyond just state by state and that there was at least info on number of votes by country. im sure some of that info is still there, i just dont know where to find it.

Pretty sure you're wrong.

I remember back when we were analyzing rallies v stuffing (Banjo in Indonesia, etc.) we had to manually work out what possible vote spreads could generate the %'s the map showed in real time and the whole joke about Banjo was that it was ridiculously implausible.

Ok, so now who's a ready for a day of matches that aren't even close?!

1. How high will Phoenix Wright push his lead at the freeze? And where does he end up?

- I really think this board can push him over 80% for the first couple of minutes and he just might hold it until the freeze. I do think he will have the biggest drop throughout the day, though, and end around 62-64%.

2. Will Ike double Joel?

- I really think Ike will double him and I won't be surprised if he pushes 70%. I just dont see modern action characters holding any kind of strength.

3. Who would you take between Estelle and Neptune?

- I really think Estelle could challenge Cayde for the weakest character. The Neptunia games may not be quite as good as the newer Legend of Heroes games, but the Neptunia games are less obscure. I would give a very slight edge to Neptunia.

4. Who do you take between Gordon Freeman and Guile?

- Guile has never made the contest before?
He's going to bomb badly. I would probably take him over Gordon, but not by much. If Kirby doesn't triple Guile, his chances against Bowser don't look good to me...

Trails isn't that obscure, and a cult RPG would do better here than a game this site pretty much showed it outright loathes in 2015.

Maybe if she was from Trails of Cold Steel, but Trails in the Sky was PSP and PC. That's pretty obscure, even for this site. Plus, They both look like random anime girls. There isnt much for the average voter to differentiate them.

Honestly, their match would probably come down to whoever had the higher seed at the time.

I don't know if this is the Trails that Estelle is from, but it performed similarly to other obscure RPGs. She's probably slightly better than Neptune but still very bad?

take that out and clearly trails in the sky sc is worth like 40% on GAME OF THE DECADE Majora's Mask.

I would actually agree with Isaac around 40% against Red.

If I did my math right - If Isaac would get 40% on Red and Neptune is equal to Estelle, then Isaac should get around 69% on Estelle.

And I think high 60s is around what he'll do.

After simmering on Terra/Char, I think this is more of Terra being a star than Charizard being a dud. We've seen Pikachu and Red do well so far do Pokrmon's looking good, and pretty much every Nintendo character except maybe Peach has met or beat expectations...so I don't see the 'Zard bombing since 2013 (where he did bomb). Meanwhile, with Kefka having just laid waste in our most important match so far, I'm inclined to give Terra a FF3/6-related nod of respect. Good show by the both of them, and good on Terra with this surprising performance.

That said, Charizard's about to have another Pokrmon-game drop so it could be hard once again to tell where that darn Pokeyman is supposed to be and therefore Terra. Bah.

It wont be a same day release at the very least match will be a couple weeks ahead of LEts Go

oh. well in that case im very disappointed in there not being more detail in those stats and it makes me think its all just approximation. i would hope that if they had real data on votes by county they would share it.

The Pokemon game doesn't come out until after Charizard loses to Bowser so it won't help here. Similarly, Mewtwo will be eliminated by Tifa before the game comes out. It's drops on the same day as Pikachu vs Zero but Pikachu doesn't seem like he needs the help. It could help Red against Kefka if Red makes it that far.
