Hmm
I don’t own a console BotW is on. I suppose eventually I will need a
Switch, but I haven’t really seen much to sell me on one still. I’ve
played like 3 console LoZs and 3 handheld ones and Midna is the only
character I’ve actively cared about so far |
I understand where you're coming from (well except for the Midna thing, she's whatever) BotW is the first game that actually made me care about the Zelda franchise (edited 10/22/2018 8:24:51 PM) |

Neptune
is probably not the weakest in the bracket by virtue of being an Anime
girl. Such characters are great at attracting anti-votes. Remember how
well Mithos did against Kefka? Now, in a 4-way match, Neptune might be
the weakest in the bracket. "Ah,
a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So... what is
a party?" "Well, you drink punch and eat CAKE! ...I think." |
Yeah, I don't think Neptune will be the weakest, but she'll probably be borderline bottom ten. |
Thinking
about it, I'm curious to see how Sora performs with the day vote. The
KH day vote was legendary at one point, but Sora almost always got stuck
in night matches when we had 12-hour matches, so it'll be interesting
to see if he can go high during the day. |

In terms of oddball results, Wesker outperforming Lloyd in 2005 after being in the same fourpack as Mithos in Villains a couple months earlier was hilarious. Granted, Kefka being Kefka was a big part of that, but the thought of Mithos > Lloyd is tremendous on so many levels. Agent Triple Zero at your service! IIRC Kefka vs Wesker was the first time we saw sprite Kefka. This was not the best year for my bracket. Congrats to BK_Sheikah00 for winning the BYIG Guru Contest! |

is stalling out and making small cuts. He's probably too far behind for
it to matter at this point, but he should probably make some gains now

If the power hour compounded with the day vote causes day characters to collapse harder Cecil could maybe make a run at this. I'd really like the lead to be like half what it is to have much faith though. No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

It was a huge deal (or at least Smash + Nintendo boost in general). Last contest Big Boss was way stronger than Ridley. Congrats to BKSheikah for winning the BYIG Guru Challenge! |

Yeah,
Big Boss was projected to get at least 60% on Ridley based on previous
stats, so this is a good net improvement (with some potential of Big
Boss being weaker than before). Also, we're about 400 votes ahead of yesterday's pace. If yesterday's match is any indication, Red is going to start tanking percentage from here on out. And I might be wrong about Cecil cutting overnight. Crash is dominating Cecil in the UK right now. Big Boss should start gaining nicely soon though. I know it's not necessarily a trend predictor, but still, Sony is still the champ over there, even if it means Crash over an old FF that didn't originate on the Playstation. |

FFIV and FFVI are much different than the rest of Final Fantasy when it comes to the Europe vote. Both games are pretty terrible in Europe as the game wasn't originally released there. Square has since rectified the problem by eventually releasing both games in Europe, though not on the original SNES. Although Square continues treating Chrono Trigger like s*** when it comes to Europe. At this point, I believe Chrono Trigger has only gotten a European release on the DS and on the Wii as a Virtual Console release. I have a hard time seeing Lightning get stronger while the rest of the serie seems to have fallen off a cliff. Chloe must be even weaker than expected. |

If I'm to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all. |
