Sprites
would be best for old Squaresoft RPG characters. If we can't get that,
Dissisia is better than Amano art. Kefka suffered for years under Amano

I had Dedede > Ocelot in my bracket. It's like the only time I bid
on a stupid Nintendo result. But it wasn't an accident-- Ocelot just

Yeaaaah today strikes me as the R1 harbinger (we got bits of evidence earlier, but today's matches hammer it home). Red, Pikachu, and Charizard are huge favorites in their division. Red is an absolute guarantee. I'd bet real money on it right now. Pikachu, slightly less so because SFF matches can sometimes be tough to gauge, but he's still a big favorite over Yoshi. Charizard is also now firmly #1 in his division, but I feel he may drop it to Kirby because Pokefatigue might materialize by then (and Kirby is a perfect, neutral choice to capitalize on that). I kinda feel the same about Mewtwo, in that people might tire of Pokemon trouncing everything by then and that MMX is another strong choice to reap those rewards. And Sephiroth is so, so lucky he didn't pick up any of those four Pokemon entrants in his division. It could have been embarrassing. Yoblazer https://imgur.com/gByqgPg |

I don't think 77% on Neptune is OH GOD IT'S OVER EMBRACE POKEFEAR. But I don't think it's underperforming either. It could definitely be good enough to win this division if Big Boss is as weak as he seems (and it's not Ridley becoming a monster.) I don't think Neptune is turbofodder at least. To compare with Sora, I'm not actually all that confident that Neptune would lose to Ryo if it came to it. Looks like I made the right call switching my analysis pick for Crash. In terms of Sora vs. Red these matches don't really say anything. We have no data on Neptune while Ryo is terribly outdated. Honestly, this is a bit of an underperformance for Sora, but I kinda expected him to underperform. He just doesn't get big blowouts on fodder. Red's underperforming by way more than Sora, in my opinion, but it's possible I'm underestimating Neptune. |
