And Monika's votes fall back down to earth. For the record: Knuckles and Master Hands vote totals spiked up like crazy during the update that Monika's did. As if the FF guys needed another nail in their coffins. Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Meh, if it wasn't for the HUGE pic advantage (for MH) I figure Noctis would do a lot better. And, geez, Zero, is that all you can do? Lightning nearly tripled turbo fodder, so why aren't you approaching 80% here? So.... does MH have any shot against Wario next round, assuming Wario wins? I'm thinking Wario will still have a clear advantage, especially if the pics change to larger ones next round. "Ah,

don't think Octopath Traveler characters will be THAT bad! The game has
sold really well and has been well received. It's probably gonna become
the Tales of Symphonia/Golden Sun of the Switch. |

Primrose
is arguably the best character of the eight that you play as in
Octopath Traveler. It's a pretty good game that was well received. The

Since Master Hand is a glove, he doesn't really have many bad angles unless you really force it so his picture seems normal to me. This was not the best year for my bracket. Aesthetics was a big part of the reason I took Master Hand over Wario (until I chickened out). If I only consulted the Gossip Stones like BKSheikah, instead of listening to Tingle, maybe I could have been the 2017 Guru Champ! |

i feel a lot better, though still not great, about Crash now seeing Spyro not totally tank makes me wish I had used a nom on Ratchet. he got a pretty popular release and missed the bracket completely. truly i think there's some matches in this bracket he could outright be a favorite in. Born to lose, live to win! |
I'm excited for Crash/Cecil, that should be a fun match. One of the most intriguing R1 matches IMO. Now crack that combination: 27 99 23. |

Potential freeze updates for all 4 matches: Zero 74.17% 445 Primrose 25.83% 155 TOTAL VOTES 600 Zidane Tribal 44.83% 269 Knuckles the Echidna 55.17% 331 TOTAL VOTES 600 Noctis Lucis Caelum 42.81% 257 Master Hand 57.19% 343 TOTAL VOTES 600 Monika 34.17% 205 Wario 65.83% 395 TOTAL VOTES 600 For Zero/Primrose, I seemed to remember that Zero had 74.18% at the freeze, but that was with the poll results page showing 609 votes for some reason. Yet the raw voting data for all 4 matches shows identical vote totals for every match at the freeze, so I blame this discrepancy on the poll results page not being fully accurate. I ended up calculating the result of the Zero/Primrose match at the freeze assuming 600 votes at the freeze and Zero's percentage being roughly around 74.18% (although 74.17% is the closest percentage that works with 600 votes) Zidane/Knuckles was calculated based on a post on Discord where someone mentioned that Knuckles apparently had a 62 vote lead at the freeze. Noctis/Master Hand couldn't be calculated based on any known information I could find, so I assigned them percentages that were nearly identical to what the results would have been without factoring in the registered user bonus. Either way, I'm not too concerned about the accuracy here. Monika/Wario is the only freeze result that I personally saw with my own eyes and can vouch for its accuracy. Zero had 450 votes and 73.89% Primrose had 159 votes and 26.11% Zidane had 268 votes and 44.67% Knuckles had 332 votes and 55.33% Noctis had 258 votes and 43.14% Master Hand had 340 votes and 56.86% pretty solid guesswork on Zidane/Knux! |

Hand was less at the freeze. I forget the exact percentage but for sure
it was less than 57 as that was the match I was watching at the freeze.
