"A laptop computer" has really fallen off a cliff during the history of today's poll. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/7031- Ignoring the poll from 2008, the "A laptop computer" option has been completely murdered by the rise of mobile phones. Almost all of the percentage gained by "A mobile phone" after the 2014 poll has come at the expense of "A laptop computer" with "A desktop/tower computer" affected to a much lesser extent. to ask, who here knew about Undertale before the last games contest? I
didn't and wasn't aware of the game's viral popularity in general.
Honestly considering that I have no problem with Undertale rallying its
way through the contest, but I understand why some on this board are

Undertale
was only like 2 months old when BGE 2015 happened; many people
(including me) had never even heard of it by the time the bracket was

setting a new high record for playrate on this website. Starcraft also

maybe we could run two contests with the same bracket.... one contests
involves all voters, as normal. The other one involves just votes from
GameFAQs accounts. That would satisfy me, at least. I never expect
that to happen, though As for how it would work... I'm not sure what the best way to do that would be. The first round you could combine both results in the results screen, but when the matches differ in the following rounds... I guess two different polls would have to be done. direct match could be rough, but with RE1 having a playrate that high
and over two-thirds of its players having played the much-better REmake,

Winning against a character who's the fourth wheel of Walking Dead fame and a guy from a video game that was sold in the USA only as a GameStop exclusive, does not make you look good at all. Not the mention, the 2002 Spyro/Morrigan match got doubled by 2010 Red/Ocelot in my very own tournament. |

figure Crash and Spyro had already hit their nostalgia peak in 2013, so
I don't think they'd do any better these days. (Pokemon peaked in 2009
or so) Hmm... how well would Spyro do against Crash before SFF, I wonder? Crash gets approximately 30% on Sephiroth through Kirby... and Spyro got 29% on Sephiroth? Ehhh, that's way too close. lol x-stats, huh? Crash vs. Morrigan - who would you take? Actually... Crash should win that one. I had forgotten how close Spyro got to Morrigan... Crash
beats Spyro head-to-head. His trilogy got more love at the time, and

Somehow, I think we're looking too much into this SFF thing. Crash and Spyro share a fanbase, but that doesn't necessarily mean Crash would win in a blowout. All your old meme are belong to me. |
