Now 91 is trying to make a move.

edge to 91, I guess, but it's tough to say. 94 should do great with the night vote and 91 with the day vote. this early vote is challenging because it's basically been a SNES vote all contest and both games cover that. but if I had to bet, I'd go with 91.

I think the final contest will be 98 vs 97. 98 wins.

also, this early vote are the ones screaming 'bububububut the SNES!' and that will fade soon

So if 91 wins that means FFIV is better than FFVI right

just looked back at 91/02. 91 was at 63% at this point in the match and ended under 55

The brackets near the top perform noticible better than the lower scoring brackets for this match.

8 people fell off the Top 50. Linkzcap, jacko_vdz, trogita, _SecretSquirrel, Not_Wylvane, swirIdude, richisdisturbed and NowItsAngeTime did not have 1997 winning the match.

FFVI takes the lead... it would have REALLY worrisome if it didn't. 1994 had better hope that facing an older year will vastly improve its trends.

what would make you think you've cheated?. also are you referring to 97 beating 98 or just beating 01? because id say 97 > 01 is super likely at this point

I got DQ'd in 2007 for "vote stuffing"

if 94 wins here I will be forever righteous over that 2000 loss

The first set of games seems to matter a lot since I've heard a lot of reports of people who don't get the rotating images. Those people would only see the first 2 games from each year (Mario World/Sonic for 1991 and Super Metroid/FFVI for 1994). In that case, that duo favors 1994 among the people who don't get the rotating images.

Vote totals are probably higher this round since at least the people who don't get the rotating images are more likely to vote now since at least they can see the first 2 games for each year. In the first 2 rounds, if you don't get the rotating images, all you saw was the image showing the year and a small thing below the year. Those people were probably much less likely to vote in the first 2 rounds compared to round 3 and later where they at least see 2 games per year.
