Go 95! At least go down swinging!

I don't expect this lead to last but I was expecting 95 to be crushed out of the gate.

If 1995 pulls it off it seems like it would be pretty definitive evidence that pics really matter in this contest given how bad 95 looked last round.

Why is CT not listed on the front left? Probably won't make too big of a difference but I would think the most popular game for each year would be the first listed.
So, do we believe in pic factor now? Because I don't think this is the same 95 we saw in the last two rounds.

Or 1987 could just be legit.
1991 > 1994 and I believe it won't be a toss up. I'm actually predicting 1991 to get around 60% or even 65%.

Both years have pretty fair match order of match pics. I would give 2001 a slight advantage in that, because Twisted Metal and Command & Conquer aren't all that strong there . MGS2 has still been snubbed....

There were a couple people taking the "smart voter" theory a little too far (and more admitting it was a factor, but doubting it could swing a ten point match like 2006/2011)

Also, no consoles appeared in the match pictures for either year, so Allen might snub them again despite user submissions for consoles.

I would put this on the pic factor being very extreme and showing what happens when you have Chrono Trigger and 3 fodder games vs. 4 NES games that were the first games in their series.

In Round 2, 1995 had an extremely impressive 57.85% prediction percentage, with the remaining 42.15% split between 1985/1986/1987. So it seems as though the site overall thought 1995 was going to win that match in their brackets, but pic factor led to a massive underperformance against 1987.
