Which version of Link is acephobic? I'm having trouble imagining an iteration that dislikes asexuals at the moment.

This is a conversation that we need to have as a community.

Final Fantasy VII finished with a playrate of 77.28% in the most recent playrate poll, a fairly decent increase over the 2009 poll where it had a playrate of 70.83%. Despite the playrate increase, FFVII has gotten even weaker since the 2009 playrate poll.

The recent playrate poll also showed that ownership polls aren't considered a reliable proxy for actual playrate. For reference, the last 2 ownership polls and the most recent playrate poll:

FFVII's ownership in early 2016 was 72.74%, but the playrate turned out to be 77.28%. This represents a 4.54% difference between the ownership rate and the playrate. By applying this same exact difference to the 2012 ownership poll, FFVII is estimated to have a playrate of 72.61% at the time of the 2012 ownership poll. That 2012 ownership poll took place when we were in the earlier phases of our vote total decline. FFVII's playrate likely started increasing again when our vote totals began to decline.

Link can cook meat in Breath of the Wild.

Simply cooking meat doesn't make you a chef, though.

Kirby is an accomplished chef with a comprehensive palate, though.

In a robot chicken skit, Cloud is a fry cook

Or does that not count

Fry cooks aren't chefs, though I will allow Cloud being the strongest fry cook.

Undertale playrate poll currently in progress for today. But this time around, we won't have to worry about any kind of spillover from the last contest affecting the results of today's poll. The Undertale playrate poll that we got last year after the bonus matches ended likely had to deal with some spillover from the final match.

In that poll, the anti-Undertale option got 24.71%. Today, the anti-Undertale option only has 17.28%, so there were some people who quickly forgot about what Undertale did during the contest.

I need to give the game another try sometime, got distracted by other games when I first played it.

Who is the strongest character that can juggle?

I can't even think of a character I know can juggle...

If it's fighting game juggling, it's probably Link, or any other popular Smash Brother or fighting game character.

Actual juggling, I have no idea.

I know Blizzard characters don't do well, but why hasn't Illidan been in a character battle? The fan base actually likes him, unlike Thrall who always finds a way in these things

Mewtwo can use his Psychic powers to juggle you know....that thing is stronger than Sephiroth!

last year I had so much fun picking my bracket, even though Undertale kinda put a sour note on things(just because it ruined so carefully made brackets) I'm still keen to have another one this year

This poll was determined exclusively by Geolocation trends, as this poll was basically the US/Canada vs. The World.

The trends in this poll revolve around the "I didn't even know this was a thing" option, as this was the option that dominated the night vote when the US/Canada was sleeping. The first 4 options all share the same general trends, but with varying degrees of night vote collapse. "Tons" and "Quite a lot" were most severely affected by the night vote. "Maybe a few" and "None" held up much better during the night vote, but also fell victim to the general trends surrounding the first 4 options in this poll.

This poll was also exciting because it had actual comebacks. "None" built up a max lead of 200 over "I didn't even know this was a thing" at 1:30 AM before "I didn't even know this was a thing" would make an attempt at a comeback. At 4:40 AM, "I didn't even know this was a thing" finally took the lead over "None" and went on to reach its max lead of 439 at 8:45 AM. After that point in time, "None" would spend the rest of the poll chipping away at the lead. By 8:00 PM, the lead was still sitting at 196 and that lead would completely evaporate in the final 4 hours of the poll as Europe was going to sleep. "None" would retake the lead again at 11:55 PM and finished the poll with a 17 vote lead over "I didn't even know this was a thing".

The overall percentage shifts were fairly large here. "I didn't even know this was a thing" gained a total of 15.73% starting from its lowest percentage of 22.55% at 12:05 AM (and then lost a total of 5.66% after reaching its maximum). As a reference point, Europe gains almost 20% during the continent poll before reaching its maximum percentage. "None" lost total of 7.27% from its maximum percentage and only gained 1.76% after reaching its minimum percentage. "Maybe a few" lost a total of 7.49%, but gained a total of 2.85% from its minimum percentage.
