We could actually set up a board for discussing past contests since Board 8 rarely discusses the past contests (outside of the stats topics) after they come to an end. The board could also go into more detail (via sticky topics on the board) with providing far more information and resources than the first post of the stats topics provide.

Remember how I said the board would only be used for discussing past contests? That would be a community board rule aimed at making sure the board won't be competing against Board 8 when a site contest is currently in progress. This means a contest currently in progress can't be discussed on this community board until the day after the contest ends.

Man, I didn't realize so many people were actually interested in that Warcraft movie, especially on this site.

Today's poll should get very high vote totals (almost getting into age poll territory) based on the same poll from 2014 which got about 2000 votes less than the age poll from that same year.

Projections for this poll have it getting 24004 votes, which might not seem very impressive. This was based on the vote totals of the 2014 poll and how they compared to the average vote totals of that time. But when we're averaging only 18136 votes over the past 30 days, the projection of 24004 votes puts today's poll with 32.36% higher vote totals compared to our average of only 18136 votes. Even an age poll with our vote totals right now looks to get around 25500 votes.

The option "I'd buy it from a major chain game store (GameStop)" isn't referring exclusively to GameStop alone. That option only has GameStop listed as an example of a major chain game store. And GameStop doesn't exist in every country.

I'm surprised there are a lot of people who can't beat the Japanese SMB2. It's certainly the hardest game in the series, but I never found the game to have a brutal difficulty in any way.

Vote totals are pretty bad for today's poll so far. Looks like this poll is going to finish around 13000 votes, which is less than what this poll should have gotten based on a similarly worded poll back in 2014. Based on the 2014 poll, today's poll would have been projected to get 16483 votes.

It seems like vote totals on this poll are worse than they should be due to the lack of a Nintendo option in this poll, because of Nintendo not hosting a Nintendo Direct this year. This decision ultimately reduced the overall hype for E3 this year and those who are looking forward to Nintendo this year (thanks to Nintendo Treehouse Live) are forced into a situation of voting for another option or simply not voting at all in this poll.

Still never ceases to amaze me how well RDR does here.

I feel like GameFAQs wouldn't care about Greninja much. Past the original 151, most Pokemon suck.

I would love a Squirtle/Blastoise match.

Greninja might not be fodder, but it won't be that strong. There's not really much reason to push for Greninja when there are plenty of Gen 1 Pokemon to try if we want some Pokemon that have not been in a contest yet.

I don't think Greninja will be fodder, I'd take him over Lucario though that isn't saying much.

I'd pick Lucario against Greninja here for sure.

But yeah, a solid handful of Gen 1 Pokemon would be better.
