It's
pretty obvious though that you don't have to think FFX > MM to get
CT > LttP. CT, indeed, would have to beat down LttP by pretty

think Undertale has a really good shot at finishing out the match at
this point with no OoT cut outside of the one vote wonder, but this is
going to be one of the trickiest parts of the match to get through I

There
isn't really a 'usual' OoT anymore. It might not lose to a bunch of
things normally, but it's still much, much weaker than it used to be. I
think there's a real chance it could have doubled FFVI in 2009. It

OoT is weaker, but I'd still take it over everything except maybe CT in normal circumstances. Tomorrow? It'd be a free-for-all. FFVII would win. RBY would win. agree with xp here. That's why I thought a CT/OOT match now is kinda
silly. No way it doesn't win, among other things. OOT is vulnerable and

I've never believed that at all. CT can be stronger, and OOT weaker,

I think anyone is kidding themselves if they don't think the bandwagon/spillover these matches will be facing won't still have a strong desire to keep making the site mad and given another opportunity to beat OoT would take it to keep Zelda fans angry. FFVII is the only one that this could somehow backfire on if the "FF Always Wins" narrative creeps in and muddles things, but I'd still back FFVII tomorrow. As
much as I think it will be vastly overrated in the stats, seeing Chrono
Trigger so strong warms my heart. Almost as much as seeing FF6, Super

Also,
Undertale's user rating has dropped from 4.35/5 to 4.28/5 since the
start of this match, and still dropping. Since the last time I made a
personal update, Undertale got more new user ratings than more new

I personally think we need to see a bonus match for EVERY strong game that lost due to a rally. That would make CT FF7 SMW RBY Mario 64 Ocarina of Time Melee Fallout 3 ...ideally, SMB3 You could make three good bonus matches this way, four if you count SMB3 and Fallout 3. How about turn the bonus matches into a mini-tournament? Mario 64 vs. SMW SMB3 vs. RBY Ocarina of Time vs. Melee CT vs. FF7 It's amusing how accustomed we to Nintendo/Square dominance. It gives the contest board and GameFAQs a chance to see who would "really" win if the contest didn't have as much rallying. Which is perfect for a bonus poll because the outside voters are the ones who care about winning the contest, whereas we care more about knowing which game is "really" more powerful among non-rallied voters. --- Every day the rest of your life is changed forever. |
