Krozuck posted... What's going on. OOT is currently getting a s*** ton of backlash due to being the only non Undertale game here and has generated a huge hatebase over the years. OOT has also knocked out a ton of favorites to win this contest. This has been a festering wound ready to burst. Not even Gamefaqs is on OOT's side right now. aren't even that upset about Undertale taking this, even on GameFAQs.

People would be less pissed at Ocarina if Melee beat out Undertale, but currently you have a lot of Melee fanboys voting against OOT because it's still in the contest. The backfire rate on OOT is absolutely insane. The Melee crowd was rallying too, so Ocarina probably wouldn't have won that anyway. Not to mention anytime Undertale is in danger of losing, it's able to rally up enough votes to just barely get in the lead. --- Warning: I am a satirical person and don't care for other's sensitivities. Eh,
if there's any series on GameFAQs completely deserving of having no
mercy at the hands of the Undertale executioner, it's Zelda. Zelda has
historically been pretty much to every other game what Undertale is
being to it today. I can't imagine GameFAQs is terribly broken up even if they only have themselves to blame for that state of affairs. <_< --- Welcome to the League of Antivotes. |

banner would have made OoT look a little less bad, but that's it. The
only result it would have flipped would have been ME3 (and mayyyyyyybe

know it wouldn't change the result by itself or anywhere near it but
OoT being so buried right now is making it hard to feel like rallying.
Guess I just have to hope that Zelda dungeon facebook post comes through

If
the match wasn't going to be a slugfest with lead changes and stuff,
the next-best thing is OoT getting completely b****slapped A 55% or so result is just boring! --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
Undertale
crushing OoT makes perfect sense. OoT went over quite a few favorites
(notably, SMRPG) and even outside of Board 8 it has a stigma of "always
winning" and "overated" like most Zelda related things have. We just got through one hell of a match 2 days ago that saw Undertale get nearly one hundred thousand votes (it got over nine hundred thousand). I question anybody who actually thought OoT (which has less of an active fanbase than Melee) was going to put up a big fight against Undertale. Plus, if this is a Genocide run, it all makes sense. Fits the theme. Sure, OoT might come back later on but I highly doubt it will be super close. Even if it is, UT will win anyway. |

you might want to take a step back and go find a nice TV show to watch
or something. You're sounding pretty depressed here. I'm sorry the
contest didn't turn out the way you wanted, but hey, there will be more
and they're hardly all going to be decided by a rally. The community
isn't going anywhere and we might even get a bonus day soon too that
will hopefully have some of the matches we wanted to see. There are a
lot of bright sides, even though all the doom and gloom here might not
