I
doubt there's significant cheating here. Sure, I bet some people used
multiple IPs they have, but I bet that happens frequently. This match
was hyped as hell, and so many Undertale fans online were aware of it.
You don't produce 70k+ votes from bots. I don't think it's a big mystery that, when Melee rises, Undertale strikes back. I imagine there are ralliers that watch the poll and only ask for votes when they see they need it. Some people on Steam said this, that they don't tweet out the poll unless they need to. I was so close. I figured Undertale would win, and I didn't want to get

would say OoT would be favorite in Game of the 90s, but I would expect a
sizeable amount of gurus looking for the CT upset to net them some

love Undertale and have no problem with it taking the crown, but this
match - more than any other - really makes me wonder about the
legitimacy of its vote intake. It's bizarre to me that it could rally this much additional support, from a votal # standpoint, over the course of two f***ing days. Obviously there are Melee rallies to account for too, and not all of those votes are going to Melee, but it's still such a staggering increase. I'm hoping Allen is carefully monitoring the vote intake for both games, and makes a post that addresses the match in proper fashion (I.E. not as snide as his last post). --- Now crack that combination: 27 99 23. |

Ocarina match probably breaks 80k. I'm finding it weird that people are picking this match to draw the line in the sand. was the Pokemon match not crazy enough? or ME3 for that matter? --- add the c and back away iphonesience |

What's kinda suprising for me is not it's power (it was indeed to be expected from previous matches), but the fact it almost immediately reacted to the Melee rallies. I would have expected it to take at least one hour (and the loss of the lead) before the Undertale war machine started. |

What we didn't know was whether the reach of the Undertale votes could move beyond tumblr or what its reach would be on tumblr when/if it reached all possible voters. And all the numbers from Fallout/RBY indicated that Undertale had rallied about the same number of votes in each match. SM64 match showed there was a slightly higher gear, but nothing like this. Last but not least, no site banner today. You're silly if you think that doesn't gain Melee at least 2-3k votes minimum considering the game's natural strength on GameFAQs. Edit: no, not "everything" showed it. Please stop pretending that you had everything figured out from the beginning, juts because the breaks went your way.
